2 Planning a Special Event? We are here to serve you! Taher offers a full range of catering expertise. Let us help you plan your special gathering! About Taher, Inc. With more than 30 years in the Dining industry, we are fully equipped to handle your catering needs, whether-big or small! Our menu is completely customizable to fit your specific event. If you don t see what you want, just ask and we will work with you to design a menu exactly how you would like it. We are available to do any event, any time - from coffee and juice for a morning meeting to a fullscale buffet dinner or plated white linen dinner function. Guarantees For all College functions, a PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER is required before any items can be procured or rented for your event. We recommend having your PO number a week before the event. To professionally plan and prepare for your event, we request that you guarantee the number of guests a minimum of 48 hours prior to service. Please confirm any changes via , if you do not confirm, then you will be invoiced for the number of guests from the quote. Notice We request that you provide at least 48 business hour advance notice for all catered events. Orders placed after 3:00 pm on Thursday, (account close on Thursday at 2 pm and do not return until Monday). Quotes cannot be guaranteed without prior confirmation and approval from the Catering Manager at your location. As always we strive to accommodate last minute requests and changes you may have. The more time that we have to plan your event the better. Catering orders with less than a 48 hour notice will be subject to product and staff availability. Staff & Personnel Our chefs will be available for your catering needs at an additional charge. An additional charge will be applied to orders requiring event coordination and/or ordering from outside vendors. Events before or after operation hours or requiring service labor will be billed at $25 per staff required/ hour with a minimum of 4 hours. Service charge applies to evening/weekend events. Cancellations We know, at times, you may need to cancel an event with short notice. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. Any special food items ordered, items rented or staff scheduled still may be billed, but we will strive to always work with our customers where these charges are applicable. You are responsible for the theft and/or damage of rental items and could be billed for missing or damaged goods. A two-week notice is required for these services. There is no guarantee that the rental company will have the items for your event available; we cannot guarantee the availability of equipment. Taher must recover all catering equipment. If you move items to another location, you must inform us so we may bring it back. If items are not returned, you will be charged for them.
