3 At the Un-named Cafe at the Wingello Village Store we have a straight forward claim. Simply Good Food We want to provide you with healthy, wholesome, tasty food and drink in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. This simple premise is why customers enjoy their meals and return often. And tell their friends. This menu is an ever developing collection of great tasting food our customers enjoy. We have tested every ingredient and make sure it is the best we can obtain. The majority of our food is sourced locally. It is often a good idea to call us and reserve a table. If there are only 2 or 3 in your group we can easily make some more room by bringing in another table, but it is much easier if we have warning of larger groups so we can prepare better. Free Range eggs, local bacon and sausages, locally baked bread and locally sourced mushrooms, tomatoes and onions all combine to make a very healthy start to the day. 5 FAMOUS WINGELLO Why be anywhere else? BURGERS Now that is what I call a burger. I ll need a run up to tackle that burger! When we first decided to sell hamburgers we wanted to make them the best. The roll is from Bryants Bakery in Goulburn and is great tasting even on its own. The eggs are local free range, bacon is from the local butcher and the patties are 100% beef - no additives or extras. 7 FISH & CHIPS Our boneless New Zealand Hoki is battered in a very light Soda Water and Flour batter providing maximum flavour without the batter getting in the way. All dine in meals include a side salad. The meal includes home made chips and salad. This photo is an example of how it was presented. There were mere crumbs left not long later. Home Made Chips You will love our hand made chips - washed fresh potatoes, chopped, parboiled and then fried in their skins retaining both flavour and goodness. 9 GREAT TASTING MEALS We also have a number of meals which are preferred for dinner. But if you are hungry at any time we are open, we are happy to oblige! Chicken or Angus Schnitzel Meal $ Chicken Breast Schnitzel or Local Angus Schnitzel served with our special home made chips and salad. Chicken or Angus Schnitzel Parmigiana $ This is also known as a Pub parmigiana. We start with the Chicken Breast Schnitzel, melt cheese on top and then surmounted with home made Bolognese sauce. Served with home made chips and salad. (The chips go really well with the rich Bolognese sauce!) Roast Beef $ This is not always available. But when it is we lovingly roast the beef during the afternoon ready to serve it on Friday evenings. As you walk in from around 5:00pm you can smell the mouth watering aroma. Served with boiled potatoes (or chips) and salad or vegetables. GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS We try to cater for all of our guests and have plenty of choices for those that want to avoid gluten. Burgers on a plate All of our burgers can be served on a plate or take-away dish without the burger, bread or wrap. That way you can enjoy all the yummy bits without the outside dangerous bits. Char Grilled Chicken Rather than have the chicken schnitzel, try the yummy char grilled chicken breast. We fry it in Sunflower oil which gives it a delightfully crispy exterior and wonderfully hot tender inside. Cappuccino Chocolate and Hot chocolate The chocolate we use to sprinkle on top of Cappuccinos and yummy hot chocolate drinks is gluten free. Serendipity Ice cream and Rusty Balls lollies The gourmet Serendipity Ice Cream and the traditionally made Rusty Balls boiled lollies are also Gluten Free. Guilt free indulgence?

10 DESSERTS AND YUMMY BONUSES Nothing tops off a meal like a tasty dessert. We won t even say anything if you decide to have dessert first. Serendipity Ice Cream Gourmet ice cream made in Sydney - Gluten Free and full of flavour. We have a wide variety of flavours to choose from. They are all available in tubs to take home or eat at the shop if you can t wait. 150 ml $ ml $ 7.50 Serendipity Pyramids We have arranged for two of the most popular desserts from Serendipity s Pyramid Ice Creams. They are served in a bowl with a side of mixed berries. Toblerone $ 7.50 Fig, Honey & Pistachio $ 7.50 Serendipity Ice Creme Caramel $ 7.50 A rich caramel ice cream with a special soft caramel sauce served with fruits of the forest. Dessert of the Day $ 5.50 On Friday nights we often have special desserts freshly made and served with ice cream or cream (or both). These include: Berry cobbler (a speciality of the Southern US states), Warm rich chocolate brownies, Pineapple fritters, Sweet pumpkin pie.

11 COFFEE We take our coffee seriously at the Wingello Village Store. All our staff have been trained by experienced baristas (the fancy name for coffee making experts). We had plenty of volunteers testing our milkshakes to make sure we had the right amount of topping. Heaven s Harvest Biscuits $1.00 Anzac, White Chocolate Macadamia, Ginger Molasses Cake of the Day $ 3.00 We often have a special cake or slice to go with your drinks, meal or just to take home for a treat. Eric s Scones $ 3.00 Eric has won first prize in the junior cooking section at the annual Robertson Show 3 years in a row. Try some of his scones served with jam and cream to confirm the judge s decision.
