2 Welcome... Irish Murphy s is one of Brisbane s premier venues. We can provide the perfect atmosphere for your next special occasion and cater for everything from a product launch, to an engagement party and everything in between. An event is as fun as you make it, and with the right venue, you re half way there. Over the following pages you will find the range of spaces we have available, entertainment and various food options, including our platter packages and sitdown menus. 4 VENUE SPACES... The Gallery Room Featuring a projector and screen, The Gallery Room is ideal for business meetings, intimate dinners or any private party wishing to view sports games on the big screen. It can provide anything from a formal dining setting, to a corporate box set-up. The room offers standing for 35 people and seating for 24 people. Temple Bar & Restaurant For larger functions, our Temple Bar & Restaurant area offers standing room for up to 300 people and seating for up to 60 people. We offer parties of over 100 people exclusive use of the second floor (until 9.30pm and excluding Fridays). The area houses its own private bar along with several plasmas, 8ft projector screens and its own music system. Live bands play downstairs in the public bar seven nights of the week. The Parlor Room Also offering a private balcony, The Parlor Room is ideal for intimate dinners or medium sized gatherings. Directly opposite the bar and over looking Elizabeth Street and the surrounding park lands, The Parlor Room can accommodate dining from 5-20 people, or standing for 45 people. The Library The Library offers an intimate setting, with standing room for 30 people, featuring a private balcony overlooking George Street. Bangers and Mash Pan seared thick pork sausages served on a bed of creamy colcannon mash with a rich Guinness gravy. Chicken Parmigiana Golden crumbed chicken breast topped with rich Napoli sauce, lean ham and our 3-cheese mix, served with a fresh garden salad and crispy seasoned fries Sweet Potato Salad Crisp mesclun leaves, candied walnuts, baby beets and creamy goats cheese topped with roasted sweet potato and garnished with a balsamic reduction. 11 Terms & Conditions Tentative Bookings To give you the opportunity to plan your function, we are pleased to hold a tentative booking on your preferred date for a period of 7 days. During this time, should we receive another inquiry on that date, we will contact you to ascertain whether you would like to confirm the booking. Please do not hesitate to contact our team if you need an extension on this time. Confirmation To confirm bookings we require a $150 deposit within 7 days of your inquiry. All bookings will be confirmed when the required deposit and signed forms are received. If the deposit is not received within these 7 days we may release the date to other prospective clients. Final Numbers & Payment We would appreciate an estimate of your guest numbers 7 days prior to your function. Any finger food orders must be placed 7 days prior to the function date. Any subsequent charges are payable at the conclusion of the function. Cancellation Should your function be canceled within 14 days of the function date all booking fees, bonds and deposits shall remain the property of Irish Murphy s Brisbane. Responsible Service of Alcohol All team members at Irish Murphy s Brisbane are trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol and may, by law, refuse to serve alcohol to any person that is deemed to be intoxicated. Damage Organizers are financially responsible for any loss sustained to the venue including damage to the premises, its fittings, equipment and grounds. The organizers of the function are also responsible for any damage caused by their guests, outside contractors or agents, prior to, during or after the event. Loss of Property Irish Murphy s Brisbane will not accept any responsibility for any loss of property left on the premises prior, during, or after the function. This responsibility lies solely with the client. Security Irish Murphy s Brisbane reserves the right, without liability, to exclude or manage patrons who breach any policies or legal responsibilities whilst on, or prior to entering, our venue. We also provide such personnel to ensure your safety and first needs are met.
