JENNEY GRANT Jenney has worked in the beverage industry for over 10 years. From coffee to cocktails, Jenney has paired with start-up companies, seasoned businesses, and everyone in between to create unique culinary and beverage experiences. They ll learn all about seasons around the world and the plants of the southern hemisphere in our Greenhouse. In our Teaching Kitchen, campers will cook and taste Australian favorites such as Vegemite, jubilee cake, timtams, and barbecue shrimp. HARVEST CANNING Wed, September 7, 6p-8:30p $55 With the bounty of Michigan produce in hand, we will use fresh fruits to create a savory jam, sweet pie filling, and tasty chutney. You will snack on classic quick pickled veggies as you learn how easy it is to make your own. COOKING CLASSICS FROM JULIA CHILD Sat, September 17, 10a-1p $65 We believe Julia Child said it best: Cooking well doesn t mean cooking fancy. Join us as we recreate some of Julia s classic recipes for French onion soup, chicken with herbes de provence, and cherry clafoutis. FITNESS FOODS Tue, September 20, 6p-8:30p $50 If you re an athlete or trying to live a healthy lifestyle but are having a hard time being creative with food, then this class is for you. Together we will make a multigrain Moroccan chicken stew, whole grain pasta salad with winter vegetables, and a filling shake with banana, chocolate, and peanut butter.
