9 General Information Menu Planning The Palisades Country Club offers an elaborate selection of menu options for your event. However, if you should prefer an item not currently on our printed menus, our extraordinary culinary staff will be glad to custom design a menu to accommodate your specific needs. Should you desire a selection of two-entrées, you will be required to provide us with the exact count of each entrée, at the time of your final guest count (14 days prior to your event). We also ask that you provide a coded place card indicating each guest s entrée selection. Due to state and local ordinances, all food and beverage must be consumed on the premises and purchased solely through The Palisades Country Club. If any outside food privileges are granted for religious or cultural reasons, The Palisades Country Club reserves the right to charge for these privileges. Alcoholic Beverages Alcohol can only be dispensed by club servers and bartenders. The Alcoholic Beverage Control requires employees of The Palisades Country Club to request identification on any person who is of questionable age and to refuse alcohol service if the person is underage or proper identi-fication cannot be furnished. The Palisades Country Club employees also have the right to refuse alcohol service to any person, who in the servers judgment appears intoxicated. Service Charge & Sales Tax A 20% service charge will be added to the entire cost of the banquet. All prepared food and alcohol are subject to an additional 8.25% tax rate. Seating Seating will be at round tables that seat 8-10 people, unless otherwise requested. Special seating diagrams with numbers are available for assigned seating. Arrangements with our Events Office are necessary if you require assigned seating. Head and prize tables will be available with arrangements made prior to event. Security Private security is not available. In the event The Palisades Country Club does feel additional security will be necessary, an outside source will be brought in and charges will be applied during final booking. Deposit & Cancellation A 25% non-refundable deposit and signed contract are required at the time of booking your function. The deposit will be applied in full as payment towards your final invoice. A date will not be reserved until a deposit and signed contract are received in the Events office. All banquet event deposits and payments are non-refundable. Deposits are required for both member and non-member events. Setup & Recovery Fees All events will be assessed a fee to set up the event, clean at the conclusion of the event, and restore the facilities back to their original state of cleanliness and condition prior to the following business day. The setup and recovery fee is based on the number of people in attendance, as well as the complexity and design of the event. The setup and recovery fee applies to both member and non-member events.

10 General Information Continued Payments & Guarantee A second payment of 50% of the estimated total is due 6 months prior to your event. At the time of final payment (10 days prior to your event), there will be a final walk-through and arrangements will be made for the final guarantee. Final payment must be paid with cash, cashier s check, or credit card. (No personal checks will be accepted for final payment) If the event is booked within 6 months of the event date, a 50% deposit is required. A security deposit will be taken in the form of a credit card and charged in the event of any damages. Credit Card Fees The Palisades Country Club accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express. All deposits or payments received by credit card are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee. Liability The Palisades Country Club reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damages to the property will be charged accordingly. The Palisades Country Club does not assume any liability for personal property brought into the club or any property left at the conclusion of your event. Banquet Hours and Banquet Room Rental Rates Events packages for receptions are available in 5 hour increments. Hours are to be negotiated between client and Event Sales Director. Non package events or extended wedding package hours are available for $ per hour. Any extended hours must be declared at the time of the final meeting (10) business days prior to the event. All events must conclude by midnight. Decorations All candle decorations must be approved prior to the event. The Palisades Country Club does not allow decorations to be stapled, taped, nailed, or any other substance to be affixed to any of the walls, floors, or ceilings in the rooms. The Palisades Country Club also asks that you do not use rice, confetti, birdseed, or glitter as a part of your wedding decor. Fake rose petals are prohibited. Special Services & Vendors The Palisades Country Club will provide recommendations for all your entertainment needs. The Palisades Country Club does allow outside licensed vendors not on the preferred vendors list. The Palisades Country Club will assume no liability for these additional amenities. We will require a list of all vendors names and contact information at least 30 days prior to your event. Vendors may enter the facility for set-up no more than two hours prior to the start of your event unless prior arrangements have been made with the approval of the Event Sales Director. All tenting, bistro lighting, linens and chairs must be provided by The Palisades Country Club. Attire Please note that denim is NOT allowed inside the Clubhouse. We ask that you guests come dressed in Country Club attire.
