1 Westside Elementary School W. Pine St. Phone: River Falls, WI Fax: Dear Parents of the Westside School Family, Westsider March 22, 2019 I hope you have a wonderful spring break next week! We will be back in session on Monday, April 1st. That day was originally scheduled as an inservice day but due to snow days we WILL be have school on that day. We had our monthly closing assembly today. We closed out our March character trait (Positive Attitude.) Our Kindergarten students then introduced our April character trait (Honesty). It has been very wet outside this week. It would be a great idea to wash your child s snow pants and coat over break if possible. As long as there is snow on the playground students will need to wear all outdoor clothes to play in it. The week after spring break (April 1st) we will complete 5th grade make-up state testing. Then the week of April 8th we will begin state testing in 4th grade. Kindergarten registration is taking place on April 4th so if you know of any incoming kindergarten students please have the parents contact our office. Also, Kindergarten students will not have school that day.
