We ffer an utstanding array f fd, beverages and services t meet the varied needs f the Eastern Illinis University cmmunity and ur valued custmers utside the University. We must have final payment 3 business days befre yur event. ** We ffer a 10% discunt fr all fd items n yur bill fr custmers using a University ORG number Remving Fd Please understand that any fd prepared by Panther Catering will be unavailable fr carry-ut. Once fd is placed fr public cnsumptin hwever, it als becmes pen t custmer cntaminatin. We are cmmitted t keeping ur guests and custmers safe s we will nt allw any fd t be remved by ur custmers. It is ur desire and respnsibility t take care f yu and yur guests. Catering Equipment As the hst f the catering event, yu are respnsible fr the equipment we have prvided fr the service f yur catered event. Any missing r damaged catering equipment r supplies will be charged t yu at replacement csts. Cancellatin Events cancelled 3 business days prir t the event will nt incur any cancellatin charges. 5 EVENT PLANNING A successful event begins with prper planning. The catering prcess shuld start 3 weeks prir t yur event. The fllwing guide will assist yu thrugh this simple prcess: Reserve the rm & liqur fr yur event with the MLK Unin Campus Scheduling Office at Submit the nline frm with the fllwing infrmatin Panther Catering Order Frm Name f the grup r department spnsring the event Name, extensin and f the persn crdinating the event Cntact number fr the day f the event Event date Estimated number f guests Lcatin f event Time the event is t be set up, served and end time. Menu r type f meal desired University accunt number- 10% discunt applied t ttal Tax exempt number if applicable Once all infrmatin is gathered a cntract will be prepared and ed t yu fr yur review and apprval - A final guest cunt/guarantee and any special dietary needs must be submitted t the Panther Catering ffice 4 business days prir t the event. - Please carefully review all details including; menu, set up and serve times, as well as any special requests fr yur event, i.e., linen requests, infrmatin n prgramming that may affect the timing f the event, etc. If there are any changes, the cntract shuld be crrected and returned immediately s that the changes can be made in the Catering Office. The cntract must be signed by the Fiscal Agent and be in ur ffice 3 business days prir t yur event. - In the case f an urgent event r last minute request, we will make every effrt t accmmdate yu. Yur menu may depend n available supplies and/r yur event may be subjected t additinal fees fr unexpected fd purchases r additinal labr csts.

6 EVENT PLANNING Linens Linens are placed n the tables 1 t 2 hurs befre the event start time. If linens are requested t be n the tables befre then, yu may be charged an additinal set up fee. Linens fr yur event are available at the fllwing prices: Napkins- $0.50 each Tableclths- $4.00 each Skirting- $5.00 each Ivry Chair Cvers- $2.00 each Ryal Blue Sashes- $1.00 each Centerpieces- $3.00 (maximum f 20) Includes, vases, blue flwers and a candle Mirrrs- $1.00 Standard clrs fr tableclths and napkins are white & blue. Table skirting is ffered in Navy Blue, Burgundy and White Specialty clrs need t be requested 2 weeks prir t yur event. Event Deliveries- Minimum f $ If yur event requires delivery utside f the MLK Jr. Unin there will be a delivery charge added t yur bill depending n yur arrangements. - Client must arrange fr drs t be unlcked, and tables and chairs set up and in place prir t yur event. - Fr all events ut f the University Unin plastic ware will be used. China can be requested fr an additinal fee f $1.50 per persn.
