A dishwasher is a machine for washing dishes. It uses soap and water to clean food off the dishes. Dirty dishes go in the dishwasher to get washed. tire What color is this tire? This tire is black. It is made of black rubber. There are four tires on a car.

One, two, three eggs in the carton. sandwich How do you make a sandwich? Get out the bread, peanut butter, and jelly. You spread peanut butter on the bread, then the jelly. Put the pieces together and eat the sandwich. shower How hot is the water? This water is just right. It is not too hot and not too cold. It is time to take a shower. bridge How do cars go over waterways? They drive over a bridge. We are traveling in the right lane. This is a long bridge. tape How do you listen to music? I put a tape in the tape player. It is a cassette tape. You can record music and talk on a cassette tape.
