2 MOOSE LODGE NEWS PAGE 2 FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR Summer weather has finally arrived and everyone we know is delighted. The Lodge is planning many fun events in June; June 17 th we will Raise the Roof with our Summer Kick-Off, which includes our Beer Garden, BBQ Ribs, a live band and as always our friendly Bar. Please check out your June Snorter for all of the events and schedules. In addition, we are now offering lunches on Monday Friday. The food is fresh and very reasonably priced. Lunches are served from 12:00 pm 1:00 pm, so drop by and check it out. Finally, we all have an important option available to us in pursuit of complying with Moose International mandates. We can be part of the problem or we can be part of the solution. Being part of the solution will make life at our Lodge much more fun and entertaining. I want to thank Susan Helms, Nita McDonald, Laura Herrick and Mary Scheeler for the hard work they had to do to get me installed. You made that night a very special night for me, thank you so much. I also want to give Sue Gildroy a huge thank you for all the help you gave me, this job has proven to be a challenge and you have helped me get through so much. We are having a Toy Drive for the month of June to fill our Game Room. Please bring in new or slightly used toys or games to give our young members some enjoyment while they are here at the Moose Lodge. The Clam Chowder contest turnout was great, lots of good recipes out there. May s Birthday Bash was also a great turnout and a lot of fun. Happy Birthday to all!
