2 Food for Futures Food for Futures is YWCA Darwin s catering and conference facility social enterprise. Food for Futures is able to support the work of the YWCA Darwin, which provides a diverse range of programs that include: Youth Diversion Program Medical Accommodation Program at Barbara James House and Doctor Helen Phillipps Cottages Encore a program for women who have had breast cancer Domestic and Family Violence Centre and accommodation Parenting Support Program CASY House (Youth Crisis Accommodation for young people years of age) Youth Transitional Housing incorporating our medium-term and independent living programs for young people 16 to 24 years of age Women of Worth working with women through the justice system The Food for Futures social enterprise supports the diverse range of programs run by YWCA Darwin as an organisation that delivers quality services to those that need it the most. Easily accessible meeting venue with free parking Platters available for external events Disabled access and facilities Barbara James House is a non-smoking and alcohol-free facility. AVAILABLE FOR HIRE: Conference Room (maximum of 90 people auditorium style and 64 people set up with tables and chairs) $135 per half day GST inclusive $250 full day GST inclusive Board Room (maximum of 20) $90 per half day GST inclusive $160 full day GST inclusive Small Meeting Room (up to 6 people) $50 per half day GST inclusive $80 full day GST inclusive * Cancer related charities - 50% of room charge costs Video and tele-conferencing equipment, PA system, lectern and whiteboard also available for hire.
