1 Warmer for Winter Winter is upon us again! The fires are stoked and electric blankets are back on the beds, for those of us exposed to the colder weather our country has to offer. This winter why not explore the wonders of the slow cooker. These terrific appliances have really come into vogue. Why? Because they are terrific for cooking the food that best suits a cold winter s night. The Creamy Beef Stroganoff is an oldie but a goodie, whilst the White Bean and Chicken Soup will warm the cockles of your heart. At Kraft we love a salad all year round! In winter our preference is for warmer varieties. The Grilled Tomatoes with Blue Cheese make a terrific entrée suggestion with some crusty bread, whilst the Warm Potato, Italian Sausage and Rocket Salad is a fantastic meal for during the week! As an accompaniment, the Basmati and Baked Pumpkin Salad is perfect for grilled or roast meat. Enjoy! Trish.
