21 Terms and Cnditin All reservatin and agreements are made upn and are subject t the rules and regulatins f the Ryal Queensland Yacht Squadrn and the fllwing cnditins. Tentative Bking A tentative bking can be held fr up t furteen (14) days. If after furteen (14) days the event is nt cnfirmed, Ryal Queensland Yacht Squadrn may release the bking hld withut ntice. Cnfirmatin f Bking A depsit is required t secure yur bking, this payment will be dependent n the type f functin being held and will be cnfirmed at the time f bking yur functin. Upn receiving yur depsit, bking frm and signed cpy f the terms and cnditins, Ryal Queensland Yacht Squadrn will frward a cnfirmatin letter. This depsit will be deducted frm yur final accunt. Minimum Numbers The rm hire fee will be waived when yu spend mre than $10,000. Any persn/s fund with their wn alchl will have the bttle/s remved, these will then be returned t them at the cnclusin f the functin. In accrdance with Respnsible Service f Alchl Ryal Queensland Yacht Squadrn will refuse the service f alchl t any guest deemed t be intxicated r under the age f eighteen (18) years. Pstpnement / Cancellatin All pstpnements and cancellatins must be advised in writing. Where a functin is cancelled up t 6 mnths prir t the cnfirmed date a cancellatin fee will apply and be payable t the Ryal Queensland Yacht Squadrn in additin t the depsit being retained if the functin rm is nt rebked. Please see fllwing table fr ur refund plicies: If the functin is transferred t anther date up t nine (9) mnths prir t the cnfirmed bking date a transfer fee f $ will apply. Payment f Accunts Preferred payment methds are direct depsit, cash r bank cheque, ther accepted methds are all majr credit cards including American Express and Diners. Payments made by Visa r Mastercard attract a surcharge f 1.25%. AMEX and Diners incur a 2% charge. Full payment is required upn cnfirmatin f final numbers three (3) days prir t the functin. Access t clear funds is required fr all charges prir t the functin. Entertainment and Nise Restrictins Due t ur residential lcatin, all music and entertainment will remain indrs and cease by 11.30pm. Music vlume shall remain belw ninety (90) decibels and be immediately turned dwn if requested by the Functin Manager r Supervisr. Staff members mnitr the vlume thrughut the evening with the aid f a decibel reader. Damages The client assumes financial respnsibility fr any and all damages caused by any f guests r appinted cntractrs, whether in the functin rm r in any ther part f the Squadrn s premises. Smking As per Queensland Smking Regulatins, the Girdis Ballrm, and Cmmdres Lunge are nn smking areas including the Ceremny Lawn as the areas adjacent t the Members bar and restaurant area. Price Changes All rm hire, menu prices and terms and cnditins are current, effective 1 st January 2015 and current t 30 th December 2015 Prices are subject t change at Management s discretin t allw fr changes in the current market envirnment.
