1 Nutritive Value of Foods Offered in St. Charles Parish Public Schools' Lunch and Breakfast Programs The following information is being provided to assist parents, students, and staff in determining the nutrient value of foods served in menus provided by St. Charles Parish Public Schools. The serving sizes listed are average serving sizes served to students in grades K-8 & For actual serving sizes, contact the school's cafeteria manager. Complete meals offered to students are planned to meet the Meal Pattern for the Traditional Food-based Menu Planning Option set by the United States Department of Agriculture, Foods and Nutrition Division. When averaged over a three to five day period, menus should provide the Nutrient Standards.
