1 OPEN PREMIUM LIST Any resident of Wagoner County or a member in good standing with Wagoner County OHCE or Wagoner County 4-H is eligible to enter exhibits in the Open Class. Only one exhibit per class per exhibitor is allowed. Exhibits must have been completed within the year and must have been made by the Exhibitor. All exhibits must remain on display until release time, Noon, Saturday. Please note and follow guidelines for each Section. I-Canned Fruits and Vegetables These must be exhibited in standard ½ pint, pint, or quart canning jars. Each jar must have a label of contents, date of processing, be sealed and have a non-rusted ring band in place. Food must have been canned since the last fair. No name labels will be allowed on the jar. Jar will be tagged with official entry tag. A jar showing spoilage or not sealed will not be considered for an award. Pictures no smaller than 4 X 6 or larger than 8 X 10. Photos must be securely attached to white poster board or white matt board. Boards must be 6 X 8 or 10 X 12 in size for all classes. The entire print must be seen and cannot be masked in any way. No frames or glass will be accepted. Photos must not have been taken before the 2014 County Fair. After the Open Class judging is completed, club members may arrange their booth with the exhibits. Since Open Class is placed first through tenth place with ribbon awards, points will be awarded by ribbon placing. Example: 1 st Place = 10 points, 2 nd Place = 9 points, through 10 th Place = 1 point. Booths must be in place by 10:00 a.m. on Friday. A fair official will then award points and tabulate the individual clubs overall points. Group exhibits total points will determine how it places for prize money. Example: High Point Club = 1 st prize, 2 nd High Points = 2 nd Prize. A member from each group will be responsible for displaying each group s booth. 1 st Place Group Exhibit = $25 2 nd Place Group Exhibit = $15 3 rd Place Group Exhibit = $10 Premiums for OHCE Booths are sponsored by Wagoner County Home and Community Education
