3 Welcome to Haddon Restaurant. Our Head Chef Dean and his team prepare a fantastic selection of homemade cakes and lunchtime dishes, all of which use fresh, local ingredients.

ALL PRICES INCLUDE VAT Breakfast Served 10.00am - 12noon Haddon Breakfast Locally made pork sausage, back bacon, black pudding, beans, hash brown, field mushroom, fried egg and tomato. Served with toasted multigrain or white bloomer bread. Eggs Benedict A toasted muffin topped with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. Served with a choice of: Crispy bacon Smoked salmon Mushroom and spinach Derbyshire Oatcakes Derbyshire oatcakes filled with scrambled egg and Highpeak mature cheese. Topped with crispy parma ham or field mushroom and tomato. Pumpkin Seed Pancakes American style pumpkin seed pancakes layered with blueberry compote, natural yoghurt and toasted almonds, drizzled with maple syrup. Hot Sausage or Bacon Bap A soft floured bap with locally made pork sausage or grilled back bacon. Toasted Cinnamon and Sultana Loaf Two slices of locally-produced fruit loaf, served with butter. Home-made Granola Made to our healthy recipe, packed full with nuts, oats, apricots, pumpkin seeds, sultanas and cherries, sweetened with maple syrup topped with fresh banana, pomegranate seeds and natural yoghurt.

Speciality Dishes Served 11.30am - 4pm Pork and Venison Burger 8.95 Pork and venison burger served in an olive and rosemary focaccia with battered onion rings, pineapple chutney, chips and Haddon slaw. Ham Hock and Blue Cheese Quiche 8.95 Ham hock, Shropshire blue cheese and red onion quiche, served in a short crust pastry case, with side salad, Haddon slaw and potato wedges. Vegetarian quiche is also available Cajun Chicken Salad Cajun chicken breast, roast peach and beetroot on a bed of dressed mixed leaves, tomato, peppers and red onions. Served with fresh bloomer bread. ( V with feta cheese.) 8.95 Salted Beef, Gherkin and Emmental Ciabatta Haddon Longhorn Beef, gherkin and emmental cheese served on warm ciabatta with Dijon mustard, potato wedges, rocket and sauerkraut. All bread locally produced at the Old Bakewell Pudding Shop, and cheeses sourced from Hartington Old Cheese Shop. Gluten free bread available.
