1 Welcome to The Rising Sun, Country Pub & Dining The Rising Sun is very much a family run business. Lovingly ran by Wade and Colleen, Landlord & Landlady, for over 10 years. The family connection runs throughout the pub with their daughter; Jessica, as Manager and their son Sam, as Head Chef. The most recent of additions is their youngest daughter, Megan, who has recently become the new apprentice chef. Family and community are key factors to how Wade and Colleen run their business, they believe that every community deserves a good, honest, and friendly local pub at its centre. We welcome well behaved doggies, always having a spare bowl so your dogs can have a drink whilst you re enjoying yours, as we have a wide range of Marston s Ales. Here at The Rising Sun we serve nothing but freshly prepared and locally sourced food. Cuttleford Farm, fruit and vegetable supplier, HH Jacksons, meat supplier, Neve s of Fleetwood, fish supplier, We aim to source all our produce and ingredients as locally as possible. We pride ourselves on our food, beer, and customer service. Which has so far helped us to win an array of local awards. We hope you enjoy your visit.
