Today, hummus is central to Turkish, Lebanese, Syrian and Egyptian cuisines, just to name a few. A strong source of proteins and fibers, as well as being rich in vitamins and minerals. It is no wonder that this delicious food has made a resurgent comeback over the years. 3 Hot Mezze Kibbeh This dish consists of ground lamb and cracked wheat paste, similar to paté. Kibbeh was originally made by harshly pounding the lamb and kneading in the spices and wheat together. Some rural villages continue to prepare it this way.
