4 For a culture that covets convenience, sales of liquid soap are bubbling up as consumers are banishing bar soap in favour of this format. Still perceived to harbour germs, it comes as no surprise that it s a slippery slope for the traditional bar soap. lthough the focus remains on hand hygiene, the next generation of liquid soaps now go above and beyond simply cleansing the skin. While the fight against germs is stronger than ever, leading brands are increasingly blurring the boundaries between liquid hand soap and skin care. Now consumers can choose to lavish their hands and lock in moisture with Honey Crème Liquid Soap (Fa) or even combat tell-tale signs of ageing with Yes To s age-defying Marula Oil Mango hand wash. As if that s not enough, the focus also remains on fragrance when it comes to liquid hand soap. With a wave of new, salt-swept fragrance creations, brands are bottling up the purity of the ocean to capture the crisp, rejuvenating spirit of everything from an Ocean Breeze (J.R Watkins) to Sea Samphire & Water Mint (Imperial Leather). Meanwhile, other brands are prompting consumers to reconnect with the great outdoors with everything from English Oak & Redcurrant (Jo Malone) to Baylis & Harding s Royale Bouquet collection which captures the grace of an English garden. Whether it be a stand-out bottle, luxurious foaming lather or a sophisticated scent, we have lifted the lid on the latest wave of liquid hand soaps. Based on our findings, we have carefully created a collection of eight fragrances, each inspired by key trends of the moment.

5 From the goodness of goat s milk to stand-out bottle designs that are sure to brighten any sink space, the world of liquid hand soap is a flurry of activity once more. Designed with sensitive skin in mind, Crabtree & Evelyn turned to the goodness of goat s milk with its new Goatmilk & Oat Hand Wash. enriched with nutrient-rich goat s milk and vitamin E, the cashmere soft lather leaves hands gently cleansed and supremely smoothed, while receiving dry skin and soothing irritation. Natural living brand Attitude harnessed the natural power of leaf extracts with its Super Leaves Collection. Included in the all new line-up is Lemon Leaves Hand Soap which features lemon leaf extract and vitamin C to help purify and regenerate the skin, while the antioxidant rich formula also prevents tell-tale signs of ageing on the hands. In the US, Method invites us to grace our countertops with the look of luxe with its new limited edition collection. Honing in on the trend for metallic home décor combined with geometric art, variants in this range are said to bring sink-side sophistication. The limited edition collection features Copper Rain, Golden Citrus, Burnished Cedar and Cool Lavender. Renown for its offer of handwashes that not only feel great on your hands but look great on your counter, Baylis & Harding recently added Tropical Cocktail to its Beauticology Collection. Housed in an eye-catching bottle decorated in succulent, exotic ingredients, Tropical Cocktail is a delightful blend of pineapple, watermelon, coconut and lime.

Imperial Leather recently extended its Infusions range with the addition of Sea Samphire & Watermint. Featuring a fragrantly cool, revitalising scent, the hand soap protects against germs and leaves hands feeling soft. In the US, Method has introduced its limited edition Ocean Waves hand soap. A mere hint of this soothing sea scent is said to transport you to the freshness of a windswept shore combined with notes of white rose, chamomile, lavender and ginger tea. Tapping into the trend for coastal cool fragrances is Bath & Body Works with its Shore Thing collection, which includes everything from Saltwater Breeze and Seaside Citrus to Bergamot Waters.

New brand Bayley s of Bond Street has introduced four antibacterial hand washes inspired by William Bayley s perfumery shop that he launched in London in the 1700 s. Quintessentially British in style, the all new-line up includes Orange Blossom & Honey, Wild Bluebell & Wa t e r l i l y, R o s e & R a s p b e r r y a n d C u c u m b e r & B e r g a m o t. Baylis & Harding has captured the grace of an English garden with its Royale Bouquet handwash collection. Each housed in a whimsical, floral embossed bottle, the trio of charming fragrances each offer a modern take on traditional scents with Lemon Blossom & White Rose, Rose & Honeysuckle and Lilac & English Lavender. Imperial Leather introduced Rose Garden & Elderflower hand wash as part of its Signature range. Featuring a distinctive yet delicate fragrance of classic English rose, the hand soap has been specially formulated to leave your hands feeling healthy, soft and supple. Meanwhile, Spring Meadow English Blossom & Gardenia is described as a light and airy scent and is perfect for use on sensitive skin, leaving them feeling supple and soft. Woods of Windsor has launched its Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range. Featuring healing thyme oil and blackberry extract, the Moisturising Hand Wash helps to protect and moisturise the skin. The luxurious lather leaves hands feeling soft, clean and fragranced with the refreshing scent of blackberry and thyme.

Formulated with soothing aloe vera, the handwash is 98% natural and perfect for cleaning sensitive and even eczema prone skin, leaving hands feeling soft and clean. Love Hearts is the latest variant to join Carex s collection of Fun Edition hand washes.
