The World Wars destroyed the lives of millions of people and changed forever the World as one knew it. However, it was also a time for human endeavour, achievement, valour, romance and skill that has never been paralleled on such a scale in the History of Time! It really was a time for coming together - no pun intended - and for growing up! A time to savour the NOW! The most romantic of all participants in the wars were, no doubt, the rakishly handsome men risking their lives every second in their magnificent flying machines!
