Like Jameson Original, it s also matured in a mixture of sherry casks and American oak barrels, but the bourbon barrels used in Select Reserve are toasted and charred to our Head Cooper, Ger Buckley s exact specification in Kentucky. Creating the final blend, our Head Blender, Billy Leighton, hand-picks each cask to deliver a rich, smooth experience. Our journey begins with three beautifully matched whiskeys nurtured for at least 18 years in hand-selected American oak barrels and European oak casks. They are then ed in first fill bourbon barrels where they complete their rite of passage. Jameson Gold Reserve Three wood maturation featuring virgin oak barrels for a complex, smooth experience. Like Jameson Original, Gold Reserve is a triple distilled blend of rich pot still and grain whiskeys. Like Jameson Original, it s matured in a combination of the finest Grade A casks, all hand-picked by our Head Blender, Billy Leighton. In addition to American bourbon barrels and sherry casks, Gold Reserve also introduces virgin oak barrels to the mix, which contribute hints of spicy new wood. Each component is carefully monitored and d by Billy until it reaches the perfect moment to create the final blend, which delivers a complex, smooth experience. 7 Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve The ultimate expression of Jameson crafted from our oldest and rarest whiskeys. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. A collaboration by the four Masters at Midleton Distillery, our hand-crafted Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve is a true masterpiece. First, rare and charismatic Pot Still Whiskey, which has been aged in second-fill bourbon casks, is blended with the pick of our older grain whiskeys. These are then carefully married together with a rare Pot Still Whiskey aged to a fantastic mellow sweetness in specially commissioned port pipes. The resulting union has a glorious fruit-rich character. Jameson Caskmates The newest addition to the Jameson family, Jameson Caskmates is ed in craft stout-seasoned barrels for additional rich notes of coffee, cocoa and just a hint of hops. We ve been distilling Jameson since 1780 but we re always open to new ideas. So when a local craft brewer borrowed our casks to age their fine Irish stout, it gave us an idea; why not our own precious liquid in stout-seasoned oak barrels? The result was Jameson Caskmates, a delicious new whiskey that accentuates the trademark smoothness of Jameson Original with additional rich flavours of coffee, chocolate and butterscotch. Tasting notes: Tasting notes: NOSE A real full-bodied aroma. Initially sweet with ripe fruit notes of melon, bananas and dark fleshy plums. The unmistakable pot still spicy character combines to give hints of treacle, cinnamon and liquorice. TASTE Mellow sweetness and toasted wood are complemented by fruit richness, characteristic of the port casks. A touch of creamy dairy fudge and dark chocolate adds to the complexity. FINISH A tantalisingly long, which covers the spectrum from the sweetness of fruit, through the spices, to the unmistakable note of the barley where it all began. NOSE TASTE As expected, there is the initial sweet mouth-coating typical of the Irish Pot Still Whiskey inclusion. Then the effect of the beer cask becomes apparent with the subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans. Some marzipan and charred oak add to the complexity. FINISH Long and sweet with milk chocolate and butterscotch. The initial aroma of freshly mown hay is complemented by a crisp orchard fruit character - green apples and pears along with a twist of lime zest. Mild pot still spices appear, deepening from green tea to hazelnut and milk chocolate. The lingering hop influence combines effortlessly with toasted oak and barley grains to form a solid base.

9 Powers John s Lane Release This single pot still expression of powers whiskey is entitled john s lane release and celebrates the origin of the powers whiskey tradition by providing a glimpse of the whiskey style that made powers famous. Using a pot still distillate which is true to the original style of John s Lane, the whiskey has been matured for at least 12 years, mainly in refill American bourbon barrels with a small contribution of distillate which has been matured in Oloroso sherry butts. The result is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey of outstanding flavour and complexity, which provides a perfect tribute to the spiritual home of one of Ireland s most loved whiskeys. Powers Signature Release Powers signature release is the second single pot still whiskey to be added to the powers family, following the release of the ultrapremium powers john s lane release. This new expression bears the hallmark spicy flavours that are typical of the Powers whiskeys, with black pepper, honey, vanilla and berries in abundance. Using the signature Powers pot still distillate, it has been matured mainly in American bourbon barrels with the subtle inclusion of whiskey matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. An abundance of earthy aromas, leather, tobacco with layers of charred wood, dark chocolate and treacle toffee. Full-bodied spice front followed by vanilla, honey and dried apricot. Lingering honey sweetness on toasted oak. Crisp herbal notes with touches of nutmeg, fig and black peppercorns. Sweet vanilla followed by succulent berry fruits. Vanilla with black liquorice and cinnamon reveal fresh fruit melons, green apples and pears followed by crisp barley. Long and wonderfully complex honey and spice.

10 Redbreast One of the most decorated irish whiskeys, redbreast is the largest selling single pot still irish whiskey in the world. full of aroma and flavour, redbreast whiskeys benefit from a strong contribution from distillates which have matured in oloroso sherry casks, giving them their trademark christmas cake character. redbreast 12 year old A complex spicy and fruity aroma with toasted wood notes evident. Full flavoured and complex; a harmonious balance of spicy, creamy, fruity sherry and toasted notes. redbreast 12 year old cask strength A superb balance of pot still aromatics with rich fruit and mellow wood. Full of typical pot still spices, which appear in unison with the abundance of fruit. Await the arrival of the toasted oak and barley to add complexity. Satisfyingly long; the complex flavours linger on the palate. The spices and fruit hold together until eventually the barley has the final say. redbreast 15 year old Full and rich with a complex yet balanced mix of berry fruits and aromatic oils. 11 Green Spot The green spot name originated from the mitchell family s practice of marking casks of different ages with a daub of coloured paint. green spot emerged as their most popular whiskey and is one of the few whiskey bonder brands to survive to modern day. Green Spot is a non age statement Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey and is comprised of Pot Still Whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years. The whiskey has matured in a combination of new and seasoned bourbon barrels as well as sherry butts. Only small quantities of Green Spot are bottled each year making it a rare and much sought-after delight. Yellow Spot single pot still irish whiskey, triple A distilled in copper pot stills from a mash of malted and unmalted barley. uniquely, some of the whiskey has been matured in malaga wine casks. Over time, these casks contribute some exotic characteristics to the whiskey, which is bottled at 46% ABV, without using chill-filtration. Rather than being simply a ed whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains Pot Still Whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and, uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks. Fresh aromatic oils and spices with orchard fruits and barley on a background of toasted wood. Full spicy body. 12 Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Midleton, the brand name synonymous with the annual vintage release of midleton very rare and with the limited releases of midleton single pot still whiskeys, has added its first permanent single pot still whiskey to its range. The modern day Midleton whiskey style is characterised by elegant and fragrant distillates and the exclusive use of American casks in their maturation. Bearing the name of the recently retired, celebrated second generation Midleton Master Distiller, Barry Crockett Legacy represents a selection of Pot Still Whiskeys which have been matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels with a subtle contribution from a Pot Still distillate which has matured in an unseasoned American barrel. Midleton Very Rare Regarded as one of the ultimate expressions of irish whiskey, midleton very rare is made from hand-selected whiskeys chosen by the master distiller from the renowned midleton distillery. The 2013 edition was the final expression to feature the signature of Barry Crockett, the former Master Distiller who first developed this prestige whiskey ahead of its launch in From 2014, Midleton Very Rare will feature the signature of Midleton s new Master Distiller, Brian Nation. Elegant aroma of vanilla and toasted oak complemented by a touch of lime, succulent green berries, pears and green sweet pepper. Light pepper carries onto fresh citrus, limes and mandarin orange sweetness. A hint of cinnamon with vanilla and oak reveals its years spent in American oak. The full spectrum of flavours last well into the, slowly fading to expose the clean American oak foundation. The initial light sweet top note of cane sugar can be attributed to the influence of the well-aged grain whiskey component. Then the pot still spices appear along with vanilla and oak char. Within the combination you find dairy fudge, milk chocolate and green apples. Very soft and mellow with a satisfying balance of confectionary sweetness, through soft ripe fruit to the more robust pot still spices. The charred oak and barley grains contribute to the wonderful complexity. The succulent mellow flavours remain in balance and are slow to fade.

13 Midleton Dair Ghaelach Midleton dair ghaelach. it means, quite simply, irish oak. this whiskey has been matured in barrels made from sustainable virgin irish oak grown on the ballaghtobin estate in co. kilkenny and what the oak brings to this special whiskey is the true and unique flavour of Ireland. Its provenance as individual as its fragrance, its journey from grain to glass as distinguished as its, this is a whiskey like no other. The Irish oak casks are filled with a select range of 15 to 22 year old Single Pot Still distillates. Nosed and d every month by our Master Blender, Billy Leighton, and Master of Maturation, Kevin O Gorman, after almost a year, Midleton Dair Ghaelach was judged to be beautifully balanced; subtly yet unmistakably flavoured to perfection by the Irish oak that gives it its name. Midleton Dair Ghaelach is one of a kind as it is our first Irish whiskey to be matured in homegrown Irish oak. Paddy Irish Whiskey P addy is an exceptionally mellow whiskey with a rich heritage. It is a blend of three whiskeys: malt, grain and pot still. The Pot Still Whiskey brings a honeyed spiciness and a complexity to the mix. The malt gives it its cereal and biscuit notes. Finally, the grain provides the lightness and sweetness long associated with Paddy, bringing it all together. The final product is a soft and crisp whiskey, with a distinct light, nutty, malty and charred wood character, and a gently fading sweetness. The crisp pot still spices are seamlessly enriched by the woodland fragrance of the Irish oak. Sweet vanilla notes are given depth by some chocolate honeycomb and coffee beans. Whilst the balancing rich fruit aromas of red berries, pineapple and ripe banana compliment the subtle aromatic oils. The typical pot still spices are fortified by the Irish oak character. Robust yet mellow, clove and cinnamon give way to dairy fudge and milk chocolate sweetness combining with a touch of stewed apple. An exceptionally long, with some sweet spices slowly fading, leaving the final bow to the Irish oak. Soft and mellow with an intriguing background maltiness. Soft and crisp with a distinct nutty, malty and charred wood character. A sweetness gently fading, mellow maltiness and mild woody notes linger pleasingly.

14 Paddy Centenary Limited Edition One hundred years ago, the paddy brand was born. to celebrate the creation of this most democratic of brands, we have just launched a unique, limited centenary edition. In Paddy Flaherty s day the whiskey was a seven year old Pure Pot Still, so in honour of this, Paddy Centenary Edition is also a seven old year Pure Pot Still, with a flavour profile marrying the best of old and new techniques. Powers Gold Label Powers gold label is a complex spice and honeyed experience. Every drop is triple distilled, with more cut from the top and tail of the second and third pot still charges. This means only the purest heart of the distillate is captured. This is then left to mature in select American oak casks which allow our distillate driven style to shine. Powers Gold Label is blended with the finest grain whiskey, also exclusively matured in American oak casks. The initial aroma of green apples quickly gives way to the rich spicy notes typical of well-aged Irish Pot Still Whiskey. Soft mellow barley grains are in balance with the more robust touches of tarragon and bergamot as associated with Paddy Irish Whiskey down the years. The initial mouth coating has a soft vanilla sweetness, from years of maturation in ex-bourbon barrels. Then the orchard fruits appear reflecting the proportion of whiskey matured in ex-oloroso sherry casks. The evolution continues into the crisp succulence of freshly chopped green bell peppers. Long with sweet vanilla top notes balanced with a pepper prickle and fading to expose the delicate barley grains. Cinnamon, clove oil and white pepper in balance with russet apples and ripe pears, on a background of charred oak. Cinnamon, green peppers and a touch of nutmeg combined with orchard fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. All laid upon a crisp barley core. Long pot still oils and spices slowly fade to rich barley and toasted wood.

15 Powers 12 Year Old Special Reserve Powers 12 year old retains the classic powers spicy, honeyed, full-bodied flavour, enhanced and enriched by years of extra ageing in carefully selected american and spanish oak barrels. Powers Three Swallow Release Powers three swallow release is the 21st century embodiment of the traditional pure pot still whiskey style which made powers famous around the world. Three Swallow features all the singular characteristics of traditional Irish Pot Still Whiskey - robust, spicy and powerful. It is matured primarily in American bourbon barrels where these characteristics are amplified and complemented with strong wood character. Marrying with a small sherry aged component gives Powers Three Swallow Release balance and finesse. Aromatic pot still spices, soft cinnamon, a tincture of clove oil and a dusting of white pepper in balance with russet apples and ripe pears, all on a background of charred oak. The rich pot still spices, cinnamon, green peppers and a touch of nutmeg combine effortlessly with orchard fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. All laid upon a crisp barley core. The lingering pot still oils and spices slowly fade, leaving the wood and the barley competing for the last word. Pot still spice combines with crisp barley character. Delicate herbs give way to green banana and grapefruit while a nutty note of marzipan reflects the wood contribution of specially selected casks. In true pot still style, an initial delivers smooth mouth-coating barley followed by an eruption of green apple and citrus notes.
