2 Welcome to Oktoberfeast - s Beer & Cider Festival 30th Sept - 02nd Oct 16 We have an exciting assortment of beers, not only from our local Channel Island breweries White Rock, Randalls and Liberation, but also from new and old breweries across the rest of the British Isles. In addition to all this beer, there will be a wide variety of ciders available from local cider maker Rocquette as well as cider from across the UK. All the products will be numbered so that you can find your way around the bar. The tasting notes in this brochure will also help point you in the direction of your preferred style and strength. Before we let you get going, we d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making this year s festival a success. Please remember - Please do not drink and drive. Please leave the venue quietly in consideration for our neighbouring residents. Our staff can refuse to serve any customer whom they feel is intoxicated, it is illegal in to serve anyone perceived to be drunk. The festival advocates responsible drinking. Enjoy the festival! Light Copper in colour. Pushang White Rock Brewery Pale ale. Light bodied with a slight honey-like sweetness. Pacifica hops give a subtle floral aroma. Hogshead White Rock Brewery IPA. Hop heavy; aromatic with complex citrus and pine flavours. A sustained, clean bitterness. Cow Tipper White Rock Brewery A malt fest. A crack team of roasted and crystal malts deliver distinct flavours of hazelnut and toffee. Fat bodied. Restrained hopping. Red Eye White Rock Brewery Red IPA. Full-bodied red ale carrying a substantial payload of New World hops. Further dry-hopping with Cascade crowns the beer with an unctuous tropical aroma. Playful German White Rock Brewery Wheat beer. A smooth, refined brew, reminiscent of the German Kölsch style. Well-integrated, herbaceous hop character and a dry finish.

A9 4.20% A % A11 A12 Festival Ruby Ale Liberation Brewery Jersey An easy drinking malty beer, ruby in colour and packed with Colombus/Chinook hops, producing a hoppy finish. Collymochon Randalls of Brewed with classic two row Maris Otter pale ale and chocolate malts, Collymochon retains a golden hue synonymous with summer. Big Horn Black Sheep Brewery Masham, North Yorkshire Big Horn has a citrus twist Leading to a sharper, more complex taste; with hints of summer fruits and hoppy flavor. Challenger and Summit Hops. Deuchars Caledonian Brewery Edinburgh Rich in character & long on refreshment. Solid gold in colour, strongly aromatic, with hints of fresh citrus.

Rutland Beast Grainstore Brewery Oakham Dark earthy brown in colour. Brewed using a combination of seven different malts & wheats, as well as three classic hops. Buckeye Roosters Brewery Knaresborough, Yorkshire Brewed with American & New Zealand hops, producing an orange, citrus fruit aroma and a refreshing level of bitterness. Altons Pride Triple fff Brewery Alton Full & clean tasting English bitter, initially malty then tangerine fruit & resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish. Red Macgregor Orkney Brewery Orkney Islands Ruby ale perfumed with hints of spiciness and tasted malts. Rich hop fruits giving way to a clean dry refreshing hop bitterness. Dark Island Orkney Brewery Orkney Islands Dark Island is balanced by flavours of dark chocolate, dried fruit and nuts from the combination of roasted malts and rich hops. Nessie s Monster Mash Cairngorm Brewery Inverness-shire, Scotland A predominantly malty, lightly hopped beer giving a satisfying fullness of flavour with a warm finish. Sheepshaggers Gold Cairngorm Brewery Inverness-shire, Scotland An exceptional continental style beer with good body and refreshing aftertaste. Junction Sambrook s Brewery Battersea, London A premium ale with a spicy rich fruit taste, the smell is heather & honey. Golden Best Green Jack Brewery Lowestoft, Suffolk Brewed with Flagon pale ale malt grown and malted in Norfolk. A golden bitter ale with great aroma, crisp bitterness, balanced malt and hoppy finish. Trawlerboys Best Bitter Green Jack Brewery Lowestoft, Suffolk Fill bodied, copper coloured premium bitter brewed with English whole cone hops, rich and malty with fruity hop flavours. Rising Sun Green Jack Brewery Lowestoft, Suffolk Brewed with brewers gold hops for both bitterness and aroma, the backbone of the beer is Norfolk grown Flagon pale ale malt to achieve a fruity yet spicy aroma.

The malts and copper hops add a good level of bittiness which leaves the mouth wanting more. Seasider Ramsgate Brewery Kent A mellow, easy drinking ale brewed with a little crystal malt & a lot of golding hops. A very decent malty body & a balancing sweet hop flavour. No 5 Ramsgate Brewery Kent The aroma is toffee malt & fresh green hops, with a full body & lingering bitter finish. Red berries, a little toffee & liquorice. Jaipur Thornbridge Brewery Bakewell, Derbyshire A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. And enduring, bitter finish. Crimson King Butcombe Brewery Bristol A big red beer using Rye malt to give distinctive, refreshing, spicy dry flavours. Three UK hops plus Styrians for a fresh, fruity aroma.

Three Hop Caledonian Brewery Edinburgh Solid gold in colour with spicy, herbal aromas, and a light malt bod that is complimented by the honey and mint flavours. Coast to Coast Caledonian Brewery Edinburgh A polished bronze ale with piny, soft fruit and citrus aromas all with a hint of spice. The taste is hoppy, with luscious lime, passion fruit and some kiwi-fruit notes. Dark Fruits H P Bulmer Hereford A refreshing cider with fruit, cut with blackcurrant and blackberry for an easy drinking taste with balanced sweetness and distinctive berry aroma. Rocquette Cider Rocquette Cider Co. Draft Rocquette cider is ideal as a long refreshing drink. Enjoy the crisp, fresh and exceedingly appley taste.

Medium Dry Strong Cloudy - Straight from the vat this is full bodied cider which is packed with character from all directions Merry Berry Rocquette Cider Co, Sweet Raspberry A well matured cider packed with real raspberry juice and tantalising aromas make this a joy for berry lovers. Fauxquets Valley Rocquette Cider Co. Medium Cloudy - A light and refreshing fruity blend of desert and cider apple varieties with a crisp apple aroma International Cider Challenge bronze medal winner. Bec du Nez Rocquette Cider Co. Medium - with its caramel notes and soft pallet this cider is a favourite with festival goers which leaves you coming back for more! Mouliere Rocquette Cider Co. Dry - This is a classic bright filtered cider with bold tannin which slowly builds on the palate and a comforting baked apple nose Castle Gunner Rocquette Cider Co. Medium Hop A wonderful floral aroma of hops blended with a soft well balanced low acid cider make this apple and hop combo well worth discovering.

Rosie s Pig Westons Herefordshire Easy drinking cloudy cider with a fresh apple flavour with hints of citrus and spice. Country Perry Westons Herefordshire Made from perry pears and fully matured in old oak vats to develop its strength and traditional character. Black Dragon Gwynt y Ddraig Pontypridd The legendary Black Dragon! This cider now has quite a following amongst the most discerning cider drinkers. It is rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh, fruity aroma. Happy Daze Gwynt y Ddraig Pontypridd Who can resist a light, bright, fruity glass of Happy Daze? It's got a smooth, and fresh tasting finish. It's light and a very easy to drink medium cider. Haymaker Gwynt y Ddraig Pontypridd A fruity medium cider bursting with the flavour of apples.
