1 CASK ALES A Cask Ale is Britain s national drink and a unique beer style that is unequalled anywhere else in the world. Its share of the total beer market is the highest for a decade and is enjoying a steady trend towards premiumisation with people opting for slightly stronger, more expensive beers. Cask Ale did not show a decline in 010*, the first year since 1994 this has happened. In a Beer market that is in overall decline, these are impressive statistics.
