1 ORIGINALNI RAD / ORIGINAL PAPER DOI: /VETGL T UDC : : ISPITIVANJE OSETLJIVOSTI NA ANTIBIOTIKE SOJEVA CAMPYLOBACTER JEJUNI I CAMPYLOBACTER COLI POREKLOM OD BROJLERA* EXAMINATION OF SENSITIVITY OF CAMPYLOBACTER JEJUNI AND CAMPYLOBACTER COLI ORIGINING FROM BROILERS TO ANTIBIOTIC Tambur Z., Vuković Branislava, Doder R.** U radu je ispitivana osetljivost na eritromicin, tetraciklin, i ciprofloksacin 16 sojeva Campylobacter jejuni i Campylobacter coli poreklom iz cekuma brojlera, primenom disk-difuzione metode i E-testom. Od 10 ispitivanih sojeva C. jejuni, 1 soj (10%) bio je rezistentan na eritromicin, 5 (50%) na tetraciklin, a 4 na ciprofloksacin (40%) (tabela 1 i 2, grafikon 2). Od 6 ispitivanih sojeva C. coli, 1 soj bio je rezistentan na eritromicin (16,7%), 5 ispitivanih sojeva na tetraciklin i ciprofloksacin (83,3%) (tabela 1 i 2, grafikon 3). Od 16 ispitivanih sojeva C. jejuni i C. coli, 2 soja (12,5%) bilo je rezistentno na eritromicin, 9 na ciprofloksacin (56,2%), a čak 10 ispitivanih sojeva na tetraciklin (62,5%) (tabela 1 i 2, grafikon 1). U rodu Campylobacter se nalazi 18 vrsta a oboljenja ljudi najčešće izazivaju termofilne kampilobakterije: Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli, Campylobacter lari, Campylobacter upsaliensis. * Rad primljen za štampu godine ** Dr sci. vet. med. 2 206 Vet. glasnik 69 (3-4) (2015) Tambur Z. i sar.: Ispitivanje osetljivosti na Termofilne Campylobacter vrste normalno nastanjuju creva svinja i živine i ove vrste životinja su najznačajniji rezervoar uzročnika za ljude (Aarestrup, 2006). Mada su zabeleženi slučajevi mastitisa kod goveda izazvanih vrstom C. jejuni (Padungton i Kaneene, 2003) i dizenterije goveda i svinja izazvanih vrstama C. jejuni i C. coli (Butzler, 2004; Otašević i sar., 2000) crevne kampilobakterioze izazvane termofilnim Campylobacter vrstama kod životinja se javljaju veoma retko. Citirajući brojne autore, Otašević i sar. (2000) navode da C. jejuni izaziva i pobačaje ovaca, akutni enteritis pasa, mačaka i hepatitis živine, ali se ove infekcije javljaju sporadično. Tokom procesa obrade trupova u klanicama neminovna je kontaminacija mesa kampilobakterijama poreklom iz creva životinja kod kojih su one normalno prisutne. Iako su kampilobakterije prisutne u crevima goveda i svinja u znatnom procentu, njihovo meso je relativno retko kontaminirano ovom bakterijskom vrstom. Slučajevi infekcija ljudi kampilobakterijama putem govedine i svinjetine su sporadični (DANMAP, 2003). Nasuprot tome, statistički podaci pokazuju da živinsko meso spremno za plasman na tržište u izrazito visokom procentu može biti kontaminirano kampilobakterijama i to je aktuelni problem u gotovo svim zemljama sveta (DANMAP, 2003; Wilson, 2003; Kassenborg i sar., 2004). Na osnovu rezultata opsežnog istraživanja sprovedenog u državama Evropske unije na uzorcima živinskog mesa uzetim iz maloprodajnih objekata, ustanovljeno je da je u Danskoj čak 33% uzoraka dobijenih u domaćim klanicama i 50% uzoraka iz uvoza bilo kontaminirano kampilobakterijama (Annual Rerport on Zoonoses in Denmark 2003; DANMAP, 2003). Iste godine u Italiji je u maloprodajnim objektima otkrivena kontaminacija vrstama C. jejuni i C. coli kod 80% uzoraka mesa živine (Pezzotti i sar., 2013). U Španiji je te godine nađeno 87% uzoraka kontaminiranih kampilobakterijama, u Velikoj Britaniji 44% (Wilson, 2003), a u Švajcarskoj 22% (Ledergerber i sar., 2003). Jasno je da je kontaminacija živinskog mesa kampilobakterijama neminovna tokom procesa klanja i obrade i za sada ne postoji potpuno efikasno rešenje za ovaj problem. Istovremeno, u državama Evropske unije u poslednjih 15 godina zabeležen je drastičan porast potrošnje svežeg, ohlađenog živinskog mesa čuvanog na temperaturi frižidera u odnosu na zamrznute proizvode čija je potrošnja u opadanju. Zamrzavanjem se smanjuje broj vijabilnih kampilobakterija na mesu, dok hlađenje mesa na temperaturi frižidera od 4 C nema uticaja na kampilobakterije i one preživljavaju (Kapperud i sar., 2003). Ovi faktori doveli su do upadljivog porasta broja obolelih ljudi od kampilobakterioze u poslednjih 10 godina. U humanoj medicinskoj praksi, C. jejuni i C. coli su najvažniji uzročnici bakterijskih crevnih infekcija sa potvrđenih 400 miliona slučajeva svake godine. Značajan faktor za nastanak oboljenja ljudi od crevne kampilobakterioze je niska infektivna doza od samo 500 mikroorganizama (Walker i sar., 1986). Ljudi se najčešće inficiraju putem hrane, tj. termički nedovoljno obrađenim živinskim mesom, ali su zabeležene i infekcije vodom za piće, direktnim kontaktom sa životinjama, kupanjem u rekama i jezerima u kojima su boravile životinje itd. Direktno prenošenje bolesti između ljudi je ekstremno retko i netipično za ovu zoonozu. Kampilobakterioza ljudi je samolitirajuća infekcija koja prolazi spontano bez terapije za prosečno 5 dana. Ipak, poslednjih godina,

3 naročito u SAD, zabeležen je sve veći broj slučajeva kampilobakterioze ljudi produženog toka uz posledične ekstraintestinalne komplikacije od kojih su najopasnije septikemija, meningitis i artrits (Friedman i sar., 2004; Frediani i Stephan, 2005). Ovakvi slučajevi zahtevaju antibiotsku terapiju za koju se, kao prvi izbor, biraju makrolidi (Engberg i sar., 2004). Lekovi drugog izbora su fluorohinoloni (Rees i Retts, 1993) a osim njih mogu se koristiti i tetraciklini (Kassenborg i sar., 2004). Kod izrazito teških oblika infekcija kampilobakterijama preporučuju se aminoglikozidi i imipenem (karbapenemi) (Aarestrup, 2006). Sve veća učestalost komplikovanih slučajeva kampilobakterioze ljudi neminovno je aktuelizovala i problem rezistencije na antibiotike kod sojeva C. jejuni i C. coli. Multirezistencija kampilobakterija na antibiotike uzrokuje nemogućnost izlečenja pacijenata antibioticima, što direktno utiče na porast broja smrtnih slučajeva od kampilobakterioze u svetu, naročito u SAD (Friedman i sar., 2004). Rezistencija kampilobakterija na antibiotike jeste direktna posledica upotrebe antibiotika kod životinja (Aarestrup i sar., 1997). Sojevi C. jejuni i C. coli koji su rezistentni na jedan ili više antibiotika potiču isključivo od životinja, ne od ljudi, ali su se neminovno proširili sa životinja na ljude. Kampilobakterije pokazuju intrinzičnu (unutrašnju) rezistenciju na veći broj antibiotika među kojima su trimetoprim, cefoksitin, cefamandol i cefoperazon (Aarestrup, 2006). Pored toga, smatra se da rezistencija kampilobakterija na cefalotin, cefaleksin i cefazolin, iako nije intrinzična već stečena, jeste gotovo uobičajena jer su se sojevi rezistentni na ove antibiotike, od godine kada su otkriveni, u potpunosti proširili na sve kontinente (Tajada i sar., 1996). Godinama se smatralo da su kampilobakterije osetljive na amoksicilin, ampicilin i cefotaksim pa su ovi antibiotici tokom prethodnih decenija korišćeni u lečenju ljudi obolelih od ove zoonoze. Naime, u svetu se kod ljudi beta-laktami, a naročito cefalosporini III generacije najčešće empirijski uključuju u terapiju dijareja nepoznate etiologije. Međutim, tokom godina je ustanovljeno da su kampilobakterije smanjeno osetljive na navedene beta-laktame, a da kod većine slučajeva kampilobakterioze ceftriakson u lečenju nije davao nikakve rezultate, što je dovelo do izmene u preporukama. Već nekoliko godina se ampicilin, amoksicilin, amoksicilin sa klavulanskom kiselinom i cefalosporini III generacije ne koriste u terapiji kampilobakterioze niti se preporučuju za to. Prema preporukama EUCAST-a (European Committee on antimicrobial susceptibility testing, 2015) i CLSI (Clinical and laboratory standards institute, USA, 2014) izbor antibiotika za lečenje kampilobakterioze je sužen samo na tetracikline, makrolide (azitromicin, eritromicin i klaritromicin) i fluorohinolone (ciprofloksacin) (Ge i sar., 2013; European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, 2015). Za in vitro ispitivanja osetljivosti kampilobakterija na ove antibiotike, EUCAST i CLSI daju precizne standarde za izvođenje metoda, tumačenje i interpretaciju rezultata. Međutim, granične vrednosti zona inhibicije i vrednosti minimalne inhibitorne koncentracije (MIK) na osnovu kojih se vrši kategorizacija osetljivosti ispitivanih sojeva kampilobakterija drastično su različite u zavisnosti od toga čije preporuke se koriste. Tako, ono što ne može da se koristi u terapiji kampilobakterioze po EUCAST-u, po CLSI-u može i obrnuto (Ge i sar., 2013; European Committee on 207

Za razliku od EUCAST-a i CLSI koji su ustanovili standarde za kategorizaciju osetljivosti kampilobakterija na makrolide, fluorohinolone i tetracikline, Francusko udruženje mikrobiologa (Antibiogram Committee of the French Society for Microbiology, CA-SFM, 2015) daje standardnu preskripiciju za in vitro ispitivanja osetljivosti C. jejuni i C. coli primenom disk difuzione metode i dilucione metode u agaru pored tetraciklina, fluorohinolona i makrolida i na ampicilin i amoksicilin sa klavulanskom kiselinom koji se u većini zemalja sveta više ne preporučuju za lečenje kampilobakterioze (CA-SFM, 2015). Osim toga, CA-SFM preporučuje i upotrebu gentamicina i ertapenema. Zbog svega navedenog, lečenje kampilobakterioze kod ljudi je jedan od najvećih izazova savremene medicine. Osim toga, ispitivanje osetljivosti na antibiotike ovih vrsta bakterija, komplikovano je i praćeno objektivnim problemima u tumačenju i interpretaciji rezultata zbog čega se ovom vrstom ispitivanja bavi vrlo mali broj laboratorija u svetu. I ne samo to izolacija i identifikacija Campylobacter vrsta kao i ispitivanje njihove osetljivosti na antibiotike spada među najskuplje mikrobiološke analize. Naročitu pažnju pobuđuje rasprostranjena rezistencija kampilobakterija na fluorohinolone koja se sa aspekata kliničkih manifestacija i lečenja smatra najopasnijim oblikom rezistencije kod ovih bakterija. Sojevi kampilobakterija rezistentni na fluorohinolone imaju jaču virulenciju u odnosu na fluorohinolon-osetljive sojeve i dovode do infekcija koje se uprkos disciplinovanom sprovođenju terapije teško i sporo leče, čiji su simptomi jače izraženi, sa čestim komplikacijama u vidu septikemije i smrtnog ishoda (Kapperud i sar., 2003; Kassenborg i sar., 2004; Nelson i sar., 2004). U mnogim državama, uključujući i Republiku Srbiju, fluorohinoloni su registrovani za upotrebu kod životinja, a naročito intenzivno i široko se primenjuje enrofloksacin u živinartstvu, što omogućuje nastanak, održavanje i širenje sojeva kampilobakterija rezistentnih na ovu klasu antibiotika. U Španiji je u periodu od do godine kod svih sojeva C. coli koji su bili izolovani od svinja i ispitivana osetljivost na antibiotike, 100% sojeva je bilo rezistentno na ciprofloksacin (Saenz i sar., 2000). S obzirom na to da je mali broj istraživača u našoj zemlji objavio radove o osetljivosti termofilnih Campylobacter vrsta, odlučili smo se da ispitamo osetljivost na antibiotike termofilnih kampilobakterija izolovanih iz cekuma živine. Cilj rada je izolacija i identifikacija sojeva termofilnih Campylobacter vrsta iz fecesa živine i ispitivanje njihove osetljivosti na antibiotike koji se načešće koriste za lečenje kampilobakterioze ljudi (eritromicin, ciprofloksacin i tetraciklin) (Tambur, 2007). Materijal i metode rada / Material and methods Ispitano je ukupno 16 sojeva termofilnih kampilobakterija koje su izolovane iz uzoraka cekuma zdravih brojlera na nekim klanicama u (Republici) Srbiji. Sojevi su izolovani tako što je uzorkovani materijal zasejavan na licu mesta, direktno na Karmali agar sa dodatkom cefoperazona (Biokar Diagnostics). Zasejane podloge su odmah ostavljane u lonac za anaerobe kako kampilobakterije ne bi propale 208

5 na putu do laboratorije, a mikroaerofilna atmosfera u anaerobnim loncima je stvorena pomoću Campy Pak, BBL kesica (Becton Dickinson, USA). Ploče su, nakon dolaska u laboratoriju, inkubirane na temperaturi od 42 C u trajanju od 48 časova. Porasle kolonije su nakon inkubacije pregledane makroskopski i od njih su pripremani mikroskopski preparati i bojeni 2% karbol fuksinom. Radi dobijanja čistih kultura termofilnih Campylobacter vrsta, vršena su presejavanja pojedinačnih kolonija na Columbia agar sa dodatkom 5% ovčije krvi (biomerieux). Svi izolovani sojevi identifikovani su do vrste primenom sistema API Campy (biomerieux). Ispitivanje osetljivosti na antibiotike termofilnih Campylobacter vrsta vršeno je primenom disk difuzione metode i E-testom. E-test je difuzioni test za određivanje vrednosti MIK antibiotika za ispitivane bakterije. Izvođenje testa je opisao proizvođač E-test traka (AB Biodisk, Solna, Sweden). Za obe metode ispitivanja korišćen je Mueller Hinton agar (Becton Dickinson) sa dodatkom 5% defibrinisane ovčije krvi. Za izvođenje metode, tumačenje i interpretaciju rezultata primenjene su preporuke EUCAST iz godine. Jedina modifikacija disk difuzione metode odnosila se na sastav podloge za ispitivanje koja nije sadržala b- NAD kako preporučuje EUCAST. Gustina inokuluma iznosila je 1-3x10 8 CFU/mL, što je odgovaralo intenzitetu zamućenja 0,5 McFarland skale. Inokulisane podloge sa diskovima antibiotika i E test trakama inkubisane su 24 h na temperaturi od 42 C u mikroaerofilnim uslovima. Ploče kod kojih zone inhibicije nisu bile jasne inkubirane su još dodatnih 24 h u istim uslovima. Za proveru kvaliteta izvođenja metoda kao i kvaliteta hranljivih podloga, diskova antibiotika i E test traka, korišćeni su i referentni sojevi C. jejuni ATCC33560 i C. coli ATCC Rezultati / Results Ispitana je osetljivost 16 sojeva termofilnih kampilobaktera poreklom od brojlera na eritromicin (ERY), tetraciklin (TET) i ciprofloksacin (CIP). Iz fecesa brojlera izolovano je 10 sojeva C. jejuni i 6 sojeva C. coli. Rezultati ispitivanja osetljivosti na antibiotike izolovanih sojeva C. jejuni i C. coli prikazani su grafički i tabelarno. Od 10 ispitivanih sojeva C. jejuni, 1 soj (10%) bio je rezistentan na eritromicin, 5 (50%) na tetraciklin, a 4 soja na ciprofloksacin (40%) (tabela 1 i 2, grafikon 2). Od 6 ispitivanih sojeva C. coli, 1 soj bio je rezistentan na eritromicin (16,7%), 5 na tetraciklin i ciprofloksacin (83,3%) (tabela 1 i 2, grafikon 3). 8 odnosno po jedan soj svake vrste. Ovo je relativno značajan procenat rezistencije na makrolide ako se uzme u obzir da je ispitan relativno mali broj sojeva kampilobakterija. Kada se analiziraju rezultati dobijeni u drugim istraživanjima, može se uočiti da je stopa rezistencije na makrolide kod kampilobakterija relativno niska. U državama Evropske unije u periodu od do godine stopa rezistencije C. jejuni i C. coli poreklom od ljudi iznosila je do 2% (Austrija, Švedska i Velika Britanija) (Aarestrup, 2006). S druge strane, u Bosni i Hercegovini je u navedenom periodu stopa rezistencije na makrolide kod kampilobakterija izolovanih od ljudi iznosila 22% (Uzunovic-Kamberovic, 2003). U veterinarskoj medicini makrolidi se već decenijama široko primenjuju kod svih vrsta životinja tako da je rezistencija na makrolide kod kampilobakterija izolovanih od svinja i živine gotovo normalna pojava. Jedan od najšire korišćenih antibiotika u veterinarskoj medicini je tilozin, naročito kod svinja. Osim toga, ovaj makrolid se decenijama upotrebljavao kao promoter rasta kod životinja, sve dok konačno nije zabranjena njegova upotreba u te svrhe godine u EU, ali se ovaj antibiotik i dalje koristi na drugim kontinentima (Aarestrup i sar., 1997). U Španiji je godine od svih ispitanih sojeva C. coli izolovanih od svinja čak 81% bilo rezistentno na eritromicin (Saenz i sar., 2000). Avrain i sar., u Francuskoj ustanovili su da je rezistencija na eritromicin kod sojeva C. jejuni izolovanih od živine bila relativno niska i iznosila je 0,3% ali je kod sojeva C. coli iznosila 31%. Dakle, rezistencija na makrolide veća je kod kampilobakterija izolovanih od svinja nego od živine. Na osnovu istraživanja u okviru programa NARMS (National Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System, USA) u periodu, od do ispitano je 1163 soja C. coli i C. jejuni izolovanih od ljudi, (124 godišnje), rezistencija na makrolide je detektovana kod 1,7% sojeva C. jejuni i 2,7% sojeva C. coli (FDA/ CDC/USDA, 2013). Nisu bile detektovane promene u trendu rezistencije u tom periodu. U okviru istog programa ispitano je 393 soja kampilobakterija izolovanih iz uzoraka živinskog mesa uzorkovanih iz maloprodajnih objekata, a rezistencija na makrolide je nađena kod 0,5% sojeva C. jejuni i kod 4,3% sojeva C. coli. Agencija za javno zdravlje Kanade (Public Health Agency of Canada) objavila je rezultate istraživanja osetljivosti na antibiotike kampilobakterija izolovanih od životinja sprovodenih u okviru programa CIPARS (Canadian Integrated Program for Antimicrobial resistance Surveillance) (Public Health Agency of Canada, 2012; Public Health Agency of Canada, 2013). Rezistencija na makrolide nađena je godine kod 6,3% sojeva i kod 4,3% sojeva kampilobakterija izolovanih iz uzoraka fecesa brojlera. Ako se rezultati našeg istraživanja uporede sa rezultatima istraživanja iz drugih delova sveta, može se uočiti da je značajno veći procenat rezistencije na makrolide detektovan u Republici Srbiji. Ipak, za bolji uvid u ovu problematiku trebalo bi ispitati veći broj sojeva kampilobakterija. Osnovni problem je što još uvek ne postoji ni jedan nacionalni program monitoringa rezistencije na kampilobakterije poreklom od životinja u Republici Srbiji pomoću koga bi se finansirala ova vrlo skupa istraživanja. Interesantno je da se u humanoj medicinskoj praksi u većini zdravstvenih intstitucija i dalje empirijski bira eritromicin kao lek prvog izbora za terapiju kampilobakterioze uprkos rezultatima velikog 212 Vet. glasnik 69 (3-4) (2015) Tambur Z. i sar.: Ispitivanje osetljivosti na

9 broja naučnih istraživanja koji ukazuju na to da je rezistencija na eritromicin, iako relativno niska, ipak zastupljena. Rezistencija na fluorohinolone / Resistance to fluoroquinolones Ciprofloksacin je uveden u humanu kliničku praksu godine i od tada se koristi kao lek drugog izbora za lečenje kampilobakterioze kod ljudi. Ubrzo je i enrofloksacin bio registrovan za upotrebu u veterinarskoj medicini napre u Holandiji godine, a onda i u ostalim državama EU. Od tog perioda do danas beleži se trend dramatično brzog rasta rezistencije na fluorohinolone kod kampilobakterija izolovanih od ljudi i životinja. U Hong Kongu je godine čak 86% sojeva C. jejuni izolovanih od ljudi bilo rezistentno na ciprofloksacin (Aarestrup, 2006). Za razliku od toga, u Australiji, u kojoj su fluorohinoloni zabranjeni za upotrebu u veterinarskoj medicini i koja zabranjuje uvoz svežeg pilećeg mesa (dozvoljen je uvoz samo termički obrađenog mesa), još uvek nisu nađeni sojevi kampilobakterija izolovani od ljudi koji su bili rezistentni na fluorohinolone (Unicomb i sar., 2003). Tokom poslednjih 20 godina sprovedena su opsežna istraživanja problema rezistencije na fluorohinolone u okviru kojih je ustanovljeno da upotreba enrofloksacina kod živine dovodi do selektivnog pritiska i drastičnog širenja sojeva Campylobacter vrsta iz organizma ovih životinja na ljude i druge vrste životinja. Ovi sojevi se lako prenose do ljudi, bilo putem direktnih kontakata sa životinjama bilo putem termički nedovoljno obrađene hrane, dovodeći do teških kliničkih oblika kampilobakterioze (Davidson, 2004). Zbog ogromnog broja slučajeva kampliobakterioze kod ljudi izazvanih fluorohinolon-rezistentnim sojevima u SAD, u ovoj državi je godine pokrenuta debata o neophodnosti zabrane upotrebe enrfoloksacina (Baytril, Bayer) u veterinarskoj medicini, što se naposletku i dogodilo godine kada je izbačen iz upotrebe (Crawford, 2005). Kanada je zabranila upotrebu enrofloksacina kod životinja još godine. Rezistencija na ciprofloksacin kod sojeva C. coli izolovanih od živine u SAD porasla je sa 10% u godini na 29,1% u godini kada je enrofloksacin, kako je već rečeno zabranjen za upotrebu u ovoj državi. Od tada je rezistencija na ciprofloksacin kod sojeva C. coli poreklom od živine smanjena na 18,1% u godini ali se neobjašnjivo povećala rezistencija na isti antibiotik kod sojeva C. jejuni (15,1-22,4% u periodu od godine) (FDA/CDC/USDA, 2013). Ova pojava se objašnjava širenjem gena rezistencije između bakterija jer, iako su fluorohinoloni zabranjeni za upotrebu u veterini u SAD, oni se i dalje intenzivno koriste kod ljudi. U Kanadi je kod brojlera nađeno 2,6% sojeva kampilobakterija rezistentih na ciprofloksacin u godini i 9,4% sojeva u godini (Public Health Agency of Canada, 2012; Public Health Agency of Canada, 2013). U našem istraživanju nađen je zabrinjavajuće visok procenat sojeva kampilobakterija poreklom od živine rezistentnih na ciprofloksacin, ukupno 56,2%. Ovi rezultati su veoma slični objedinjenim rezultatima koje je objavila EFSA godine (European food safety authority) na osnovu kojih je tokom godine 213

10 u 19 država Evrope ukupno otkriveno čak 76,6% sojeva C. coli i 57,2% sojeva C. jejuni izolovanih od brojlera koji su bili rezistentni na ciprofloksacin (EFSA/ ECDC, 2013). U Meksiku je od do godine detektovana rezistencija na ciprofloksacin kod čak 86,3% sojeva izolovanih od živine (Zaidi i sar., 2012). Za razliku od toga rezistencija kod termofilnih Campylobacter vrsta poreklom od živine u Norveškoj na ciprofloksacin u godini je bila jako niska (2,7%). Razloge treba tražiti u činjenici da fluorohinoloni nisu odobreni za upotrebu kod brojlera u Norveškoj (Norström i sar., 2006 ). Rezistencija na tetracikline / Resistance to tetracyclines Aarestrup i sar., u Danskoj, su ustanovili nizak nivo rezistencije na tetracikline kod C. jejuni/coli izolovanih od živine. Tako je samo 2% izolovanih sojeva Campylobacter jejuni/coli rezistentno na tetracikline. I autori u Češkoj Republici (Bardon i sar., 2011) navode nizak procenat rezistentih sojeva poreklom od brojlera na tetracikline (6% i 9,5%). Drugi autori su utvrdili značajno veću reistenciju kod C. jejuni/coli poreklom od živine. Avrain Laetitia i sar. navode da je 57% C. jejuni izolovanih iz živine u Francuskoj rezistentno na tetracikline. U našem istraživanju ustanovljno je da je 62,2% ispitivanih sojeva bilo rezistentno na tetracikline. Nobile i sar izveštavaju da je rezistencija sojeva C. jejuni poreklom iz mesa na teraciklin iznosila 85,7%. Sličan procenat ustanoviljen je i kod sojeva C. coli. Messad i sar. (2014) u Alžiru ustanovili su da je 83,7% sojeva termofilnih kampilobakterija poreklom od brojlera bilo rezistentno na tetraciklin. Zaključak / Conclusion Relativno visok procenat rezistentnih sojeva kampilobakterija dobijen u ovom istraživanju tumači se nekontrolisanom primenom antibiotika, pre svih kvinolona i tetraciklina, u živinarstvu, visokim dozama u cilju lečenja, pre svega infekcija prozrokovanih Gram-negativnim bakterijama. Rezistentni sojevi i geni rezistencije na antibiotike prenose se sa životinja na ljude i postaju značajan problem u lečenju kampilobakterioze ljudi. Konzumiranjem namirnica kontaminiranih termofilnim Campylobacter vrstama prenose se i rezistentni sojevi i geni rezistencije sa životinja na ljude. Ljudi inficirani sojevima kampilobakterija rezistentnim na antibiotike obolevaju sa težom kliničkom slikom i bolest duže traje.
