Ghanaians call their mango the sweetest in the world. We believe it is true! Ghana has two seasons a minor in January/February and a major in June-August. At a time when nobody else offers dried mangoes fresh from harvest! Coconut grows naturally. We simply need to pick it up, crack, peel, cut and dry it. Ghana cultivates the banana variety Goldfinger. Smaller in shape but as sweet as the one we eat most in Europe (variety Cavendish). It grows year round and is harvested every week. 2

7 Pallet Service to Antwerp The Pallet Service to Antwerp We operate a logistic office in the major seaport of Ghana Every week we send 5 reefer containers to Antwerp with fresh pineapples since many years. To add some dried fruit pallets to these reefer containers is easy. Simply pick up the pallets custom cleared at Antwerp A pallet service may help to manage your stock, the shelf life and your liquidity. Of course we ship full containers to the port of your choice too! 7

Facts Ghana offers a wonderful fruit quality, good climatic conditions and plenty of good agricultural land Ghana s fruit industry consists of a huge amount of small farmers often with a weak set-up and very few large and professional fruit growers/exporters The HPW Fresh & Dry demand of more than t of fresh fruit is substantial for Ghana s fruit industry Strategy We preferably buy from small farms, complete with fruit from exporting growers and back up with our own farm We offer a fair deal to growers (seasonal crop, price level, good dialogue) having sustainability in mind Where ever possible we provide technical support to growers, facilitate financial help and organize capacity building of small holder cooperatives 8

We provide good and fair working conditions to everyone who is on our payroll. We provide free breakfast and lunch to all our workers at our canteen (picture) 10

He successfully acts as a general manager for all HPW activities in Ghana (fresh produce procurement platform for European market, agric service and logistic department). HPW AG, Switzerland Main Shareholder Founded 1999, Develops value added lines with producers in the South. The company buys in Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Costa Rica and Thailand. Customers are mainly based in Switzerland The company employs 12 people and generates sales of 20 Mio 98.5 % of the shares are within management 11
