3 CEYLON SEASONS Nuwara Eliya Region Light bodied, delicate and florally aromatic At the very top of Ceylon's highlands is the cool and misty Nuwara Eliya tea region. Uniquely, lying at 6,000 feet, the effects of the two annual monsoons felt in the country are experienced here. During these few short weeks, the strong winds desiccate the plant and make this seasonal tea exceptionally aromatic. Crisp, lightbodied and replete with a captivating floral fragrance. From July to August, the vigorous monsoon winds and dry weather have a magical aromaenhancing effect on the tea plants that flourish here.
