37 TERMS AND CONDITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS SODEXO UNIVERSITIES VU AMSTERDAM Order deadlines All orders without service that are ordered before 4 pm we can deliver the next day. Orders with service should be placed 1 week prior to the event. Cancellations Orders can be canceled free of charge until a day prior to the reservation and no later than 4 pm. Cancellations after 4 pm or on the day of reservation can be charged up to 50%. We will give you insight into expenses incurred. Customized activities should be canceled two days prior to the activity. Cancellation of customized activities that are not used in any other way will be charged for 100%. Amendments The number of guests can be adjusted downwards up to three hours prior to the event. With the exception of made food costs, rental equipment or any personnel costs. A lower turnout cannot be adjusted within these three hours. The previously specified number is binding. Meeting- & lunchservices The order is served approximately 10 minutes prior to the meeting. Coffee and tea is provided in thermos flasks or kettles, water in water carafes and soda s in cans or bottles. We use porcelain crockery and glassware. In a lecture halls/rooms or the church hall we use durable disposable dinnerware. On request it is possible to provide disposables. Lunches can be ordered in the space you specify. If full service is desired, please contact our banqueting department. Beverage packages or receptions For all beverage packages, we assume an average duration of 1.5 hours.
