1 TEA AROUND THE WORLD BLACK TEAS STRONG BREAKFAST A hearty, full-bodied classic black tea that gains a unique subtlety from Ceylon and Indian teas. Perfect with a dash of cold milk. DARJEELING A well balanced blend of produce from selected gardens, this combination gives a delicate flavour of almond and ripe peach. ASSAM A beautiful large leaf with lots of golden tips. Can be enjoyed at any time of the day;, perfect with a drop of milk. EARL GREY The most famous flavoured tea comes from a blend of China teas with a fine bergamot from Calabria. NEPAL This garden is found in the Panchkanya region, and is planted exclusively with tea bushes from Darjeeling. This variety imparts a Darjeeling-style flavour and aroma to the tea with clearly discernible floral notes. CEYLON KUMANA This naturally low-caffeine tea lends itself to be enjoyed throughout the day. KENYA MILIMA Manufactured in the last bastion of Kenyan orthodox production, this tea gives a rich and aromatic liquor without bitterness. Ideal for the morning, and can be taken with or without milk.
2 TARRY SOUCHONG The smokiest of all Chinese teas, its intense flavour is appreciated by enthusiasts. FOUR FRUITS ROUGES A blend of black teas flavoured with cherry, strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant resulting in a fruity bouquet. Embellished with pieces of strawberries and redcurrants. ANICHAI Drawn from an Indian recipe, this creation is made of Indian spices embellished with ginger bits, clove, pink peppercorns and cardamom. Amazingly paired with boiled milk. OOLONG TEAS PU-ERH CANG YUAN Native of the Cang Yuan region, this sombre tea with compact leaves gives a dark, intense liquor with punctuating high-notes. The infusion is well-rounded, revealing woody, earthy nuances and a hint of marine aroma. TEGUANYIN GREEN OOLONG The thick leaves of this oolong from the Fujian mountains undergo only the slightest of fermentations, finding a delicate equilibrium between the woody, floral and fruity notes of this genre. MING ORCHIDÉE Made exclusively of delicately curled golden tips, the liquor carries the character of a great Yunnan tea, underlined by a note reminiscent of flowering orchids.
3 YUNNAN CÉLESTE These shoots, tawny, twisted, and downy, give a rich liquor without bitterness. With lingering aromas of wood, spices, tobacco and honey. GREEN TEAS SENCHA DE CHINE A green tea produced in China, but inspired by the Japanese. Its leaves are crafted into a baton-like form and give an infusion characteristic of Japanese Sencha: vivid yellow, fresh and astringent with clearly fruity highlights. HOUJICHA A roasted green tea, crafted from a base of Bancha. The liquor is packed with roasted aromas, accompanied by notes of wood and a slightly sweet flavour. Naturally low in caffeine. BALI With fresh, floral and fruity notes, this delicately flavoured blend is to be appreciated year-round, hot or chilled. Sencha tea from China, jasmine green tea and flower petals, lychee, grapefruit and rose flavours. THÉ VERT À LA MENTHE This unfermented rolled leaf green tea is added to Moroccan «Nanah» spearmint. The African desert tea is drunk steaming hot with plenty of sugar.
4 PREMIUM JASMIN PEARL Originating from the Hunan province, these downy, silver-green tea pearls are hand rolled, shoot by shoot, by skilled craftsmen who only produce 1 kilogram a day. Blossoming on infusion, these tea pearls give a liquor with floral and almost animalistic notes. 58 INFUSIONS TISANE DU SOLEIL It s from the start of June that the roses are picked. Naturally air-dried to preserve their colour, their texture and perfume recreate all the aromatic subtlety of the flower within this delicate infusion. Rosehip, chamomile, orange blossom, orange peels, hibiscus, lemongrass, peppermint leaves, spearmint leaves. ROOIBOS CARAMEL TOFFEE A sweet blend of South African rooibos with toffee caramel flavour and sunflowers, to deliver a rich, comforting drink to rival any scrumptious dessert. Caffeine free. LEMONGRASS Cultivated in tropical Asia, lemongrass offers a refreshing infusion. Found in the preparation of mint teas in Morocco, lemongrass is also used today in Thai cuisine, combined with fresh ginger and coconut milk. NUIT D ÉTÉ Blend of hibiscus flowers, apple bits, rosehip peels flavoured with raspberry, strawberry and cream flavours. CHAMOMILE Cultivated in the temperate zones of Europe, its flowers are harvested from June to September. The infusion carries notes of citron and a light bitterness, akin to that of chicory, giving a long-lasting experience.
5 COFFEE AROUND THE WORLD THE OLD WORLD CAFÉ BOMBÓ N SPAIN This Valencia version of coffee, widely popular in Spain, uses espresso served with sweetened condensed milk. CAFÉ CON MIEL, SPAIN This makes a wonderful light dessert. Honeyed dark roast coffee, melded with steamed milk and sprinkled with cinnamon. CAFÉ AU LAIT, FRANCE Traditionally the French way of preparing coffee involving strong coffee and foamless hot milk. RISTRETTO, ITALY Is traditionally a short shot of espresso coffee made with the usual amount of ground coffee although extracted with about half the amount of water. ESPRESSO, ITALY Coffee in its purest form, espresso is the quintessential coffee preparation - rich, aromatic and velvety all at once. MACCHIATO, ITALY A single espresso topped with a spoonful of heated, texturized milk. CAPPUCCINO, ITALY Cappuccino s silky magic is beyond the grasp of home baristas. It s just too delicate of a dance, best left to the cafe. CAFFE LATTE, ITALY A great classic, involving a blend of Espresso and milk, topped with wonderfully creamy milk foam
