1 UTICAJ TELESNE KONDICIJE KRAVA NA OSETLJIVOST NA AKUTNI TOPLOTNI STRES Marko R. Cincović, Branislava Belić 1 Rezime Krave su izlagane 5 dana uzastopno direktnom sunčevom zračenju u periodu od 10 do 17 časova. Temperatura vazduha se kretala od 38 do 44 C. Izabrane su tri grupe krava: 15 krava normalne kondicije (telesni skor 3,25-3,75) i 15 gojaznih krava (telesni skor preko 4). Kao indikatori osetljivosti na toplotni stres uzeti su: telesna temperatura, broj respiracija i otkucaja srca, proizvodnja mleka i metabolički znaci lipolize. Sve krave su pokazale osetljivost prema toplotnom stresu, ali je osetljivost gojaznih krava bila značajno viša. Telesena temperatura bila je u proseku viša za 0,35 C kod gojaznih krava. Broj respiracija se nije značajno razlikovao, ali je broj otkucaja srca bio značajno viši kod krava u gojaznoj kondiciji (p<0,01), što govori u prilog smanjenoj adaptaciji i prolongiranoj pobuđenosti autonomnog nervnog sistema. Kod gojaznih krava značajno opada proizvodnja mleka drugog dana posle početka ogleda i ukupna proizvodnja mleka je statistički niža nego kod krava u optimalnoj kondiciji (p<0,01). Metabolički profil pokazuje jaču lipolizu kod gojaznih krava (p<0,01). Sve navedeno se može povezati sa određenim biološkim karakteristikama gojaznih krava. Ključne reči: mlečne krave, telesna, toplotni stres, trijas, mlečnost Uvod Određivanje skora telesne kondicije kod mlečnih krava predstavlja praktičnu metodu za procenu energetskog statusa organizma. Skor telesne kondicije ili telesni skor meri se pomoću više skala, a najpraktičnija je skala od 1 do 5 (Elanco Animal Health flowchart, 1996). Krave više telesne kondicije konzumiraju manje suve materije hrane, daju manje mleka i sklonije su ka nastanku ketoze i lipolize u peripartalnom periodu (Garnsworthy, 2007). U toplotnom stresu smanjen unos hrane i ubrzana lipoliza, kao znak negativnog energetskog bilansa, dovode se u vezu sa smanjenjem proizvodnje mleka (Cincović, 2010). Drugi bitan indikator prisustva toplotnog stresa jeste i fizički odgovor krava na toplotni stres: povišena rektalan temperatura, povišena respiracija i povišena srčana frekvencija (Belić et al, 2010). Ovi adaptaconi mehanizmi imaju za cilj da direktno održe homeotermiju, na taj način što se pojačanim srčanim radom krv šalje na periferiju tela gde odaje tolotu preko kože, a pojačanom respiracijom vrši se evaporativno rashlađivanje preko respiratornih organa (Cincović, 2010). 2 temperature zavisi od telesne mase i površine tela, a respiratorna aktivnost zavisi od respiratorne muskulature. Veća telesna masa znači i veću površinu tela, što smanjuje broj znojnih žlezda po jedinici površine tela, što može smanjiti efikasnost rashlađivanja putem kože. Respiratorna muskulatura je kod krava prožeta masnim tkivom, što može uticati na efikasnost respiracije, a srce je dodatno opterećeno jer i masno tkivo snabdeva krvlju. Zbog svega navedenog Zbog svega navedenog predpostavili smo da su krave većeg telesnog skora (preko 4) znatno osetljivije na toplotni stres. Materijal i metode U ogled je ušlo dve grupe krava: 15 krava normalne kondicije (telesni skor 3,25-3,75) i 15 gojaznih krave (telesni skor preko 4). Ocenjivanje telesnog skora vršeno je procenom ispoljenosti tubera na karličnoj kosti, procenom masnog depozita ispod ileosakralnog i išio-kokcigealnog ligamenta i procenom vidljivosti transferzalnih i spinalnih procesusa kičme (Ferguson et al, 1994). Krave su bile u drugoj i trećoj laktaciji, nalazile se u sredini laktacije i prosečne proizvodnje mleka od 22,5 litra dnevno. Krave su gajene pod istim uslovima nege i ishrane. Tokom 5 dana krave su izlagane direktnoj sunčevoj toploti 7 sati dnevno, u periodu časova. Trijažiranje je vršeno tri puta dnevno (11h, 14h i 16h). Krv je uzimana jednom dnevno (14h) i odmah potom je laboratorijski određena koncentracija glukoze i neesterifikovanih masnih kiselina (enzimske metode). Krave su izmuzane dva puta dnevno (ujutro i uveče). Korišćen je Studentov t-test u proceni značajnosti razlike srednje vrednosti proizvodnje mleka, trijasa i biohemijskih parametara krvi. Vrednost THI preko 80 pri direktnom sunčevom zračenju omogućuju formiranje klasičnog odgovora na toplotni stres. Sve krave su pokazale osetljivost prema toplotnom stresu, ali je osetljivost gojaznih krava bila značajno viša. Telesena temperatura bila je u proseku viša za 0,35 C kod gojaznih krava. Broj respiracija se nije značajno razlikovao, ali je broj otkucaja srca bio značajno viši kod krava u gojaznoj kondiciji (p<0,01), što govori u prilog smanjenoj adaptaciji i prolongiranoj pobuđenosti autonomnog nervnog sistema (Beatty, 2005). Kod gojaznih krava značajno opada proizvodnja mleka drugog dana posle početka ogleda i ukupna proizvodnja mleka je statistički niža nego kod krava u optimalnoj kondiciji (p<0,01). Metabolički profil pokazuje jaču lipolizu kod gojaznih krava (p<0,01) (Grafik 2). Jači pad proizvodnje mleka kod gojaznih krava direktno je vezan za hipertermiju (r=0,872, p<0,01) i lipolizu (r=0,954, p<0,001). Lipoliza je znak negativnog energetskog bilansa u organizmu krava i trošenje sopstvenih energetskih izvora. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da su krave optimalne telesne kondicije ili mršave energetski efikasnije, jer najveći deo produktivne energije iz hrane troše na proizvodnju 489
4 mleka, dok kod gojaznih krava viši udeo ima energija koja se dobija aktivacijom sopstvenih rezervi (Garnsworthy i Jones, 1987). Intenzivnija lipoliza kod gojaznih krava tokom toplotnog stresa može se objasniti i na endokrinoj osnovi. Naime, leptin ima ključnu ulogu u metabolizmu masti, indukujući lipolizu, a redukujući lipogenezu (Chilliard et al, 2005). Leptin je aktivniji kod gojaznih krava (Kadokawa i Martin, 2006). Povišena koncentracija insulina i glukokortikoida vrše stimulaciju leptina (Chilliard et al, 2000), a takav endokrini nalaz je čest u toplotnom stresu (Bernabuci et al, 2010). Zaključak Gojazne krave su znatno osetljivije na toplotni stres, što se ogleda o višoj rektalnoj temperaturi i srčanoj frekvenci u odnosu na krave normalne telesne kondicije. Kod gojaznih krava pad proizvodnje mleka je drastičniji i održava se na niskom nivou. Negativni energetski bilans tokom toplotnog stresa je izraženiji kod gojaznih krava, što je u saglasju sa smanjenom proizvodnjom mleka. Cincović, Branislava Belić Summary Cows were exposed to five consecutive days in direct sunlight for 10 to 17 hours. Air temperature ranged from 38 to 44 C. Selected three groups of cows: 15 cows normal condition (body score of 3.25 to 3.75) and 15 obese cows (body score over 4). As indicators of sensitivity to heat stress were taken: body temperature, respiratory rate and heart rate, milk production and metabolic signs of lipolysis. All cows showed sensitivity to heat stress, but the sensitivity of the obese cows were significantly higher. Telesena temperature was on average higher by 0.35 C in obese cows. Respiratory rate was not significantly different, but heart rate was significantly higher in cows in the obese condition (p <0.01), which indicates a reduced adaptation and Prolonged arousal of the autonomic nervous system. In obese cow milk production decreased significantly after the second day of the experiment and total milk production was statistically lower than in cows in optimal condition (p <0.01). Metabolic profile shows stronger lipolysis in obese cows (p <0.01). All of the above can be associated with certain biological characteristics of obese cows.
