The reunion is just around the corner and I'm excited. If you are one of those that haven't made up your minds about going, it's time. This summer has been different for the Kansas City area than any in recent history. We got about 10" of rain in July with strong lighting and thunder, and some areas of severe flooding. Is Al Gore right, or are these normal weather changes. I'll let you decide. 2 previous reunions and the shipmates that are no longer with us. James Lyon aka Moose, Emmit Price, and Paul Fleming, were personal friends. We served on Cabildo together in the midsixties, that was 50 years ago. Rest in peace buddies. So enough about deceased shipmates, how about us that are still hanging in there. Will we see many more reunions or will this one be our last. Many of you served with me, many more did not but have become friends through the Reunions. I hope to see all of you at this reunion, if you haven't registered, you only have a few days, so don't put it off, do it today.
