ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH FINE ARTS Our Elementary and Junior High Fine Arts competitions are being held today and Friday, April 4th and 5th, at Wood County Christian School. This year, the Junior High competition is Thursday, and the Elementary competition is Friday. A schedule for tomorrow s elementary events can be found on page 5. Please follow the dress code for both days. Dress for girls is black skirts, white tops with a colored scarf, and dress shoes. Dress for boys is black pants, white shirts, a nice tie, and dress shoes. PASTORS APPRECIATION BREAKFAST Our annual Pastors Appreciation Breakfast is coming up Tuesday, April 6th! We look forward to this event each year, as we meet and fellowship with one of the most important people in our students lives - their pastor! It also gives each pastor the opportunity to become acquainted with our school. We encourage each student to sign an invitation attached to this Update and personally hand it to their pastor, to invite him to this event! LIFETOUCH SPRING PICTURES This week, our spring pictures were sent home with students, and now we are attempting to collect them back (if you do not plan to purchase). It is imperative that these are submitted into the school office ASAP. THIS IS NOT A FREE PICTURE PACKAGE. Please encourage your students to check their lockers or book bags and have the pictures or payment sent into the office! SENIOR RUMMAGE SALE Seniors are hosting a rummage sale AND car wash on Saturday, April 20th, from 8am- pm! Donations including furniture, clothes, collectibles, and toys, can be dropped off the week before the sale! HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION Wednesday, April 7th, at 9am, we will be holding our annual Honor Society Induction Ceremony, in the auditorium. Students will be inducted into the Grace Christian School Chapter of the American Christian Honor Society. GCS parents and grandparents are invited to attend. THANK YOU! Again, we want to thank our very generous VIP members and teacher appreciation group for providing another delicious in-service lunch and surprising our teachers with treat bags! We appreciate your thoughtfulness!
