Savanna would be an interesting place to explore because there are lions and many more animals such as warthogs. Desert The desert is a place with lots of sand and a little bit of plants and it barely rains in the desert. You can have so much fun sledding down the sand hills and look at all the unique animals. Rainforest The Rainforest is place that gets lots of rain and has many trees, with many exotic animals. These animals have a lot of history behind them. 7 7 Spread Of Arabic And Islam By: Erik Galfayan The Trans Saharan trade was in the center of many great empires. Arabs established trading communities and introduced camels, which made trade and travel much easier. If you want to travel back to medieval times and go to Africa, there would not be any need to worry about transportation, because there are camels to take you through the Sahara Desert, or any place in Africa, while carrying most of your belongings. Arabic traders did not only bring trade to Africa, they also brought a language, numbers, and an alphabet to Medieval Africa. Thanks to the Arabic people, the Africans have a new language, and a new way to write, so we can understand them, well if we can understand Arabic. Spread Of Arabic & Islam Continued... 8 8 Arabic traders needed to communicate with the Africans, so they taught them their language. Without the language of the Arabic, the Africans would not be able to buy and sell things to and from the Africans. The Africans also used one of the traditions of the Arabic, where whenever a king passed away, the throne would be passed down from the king to the king s sister s son. Soooo if you wanted to go to Medieval Africa, would recommended you to learn at least a little bit of Arabic, or else if you go there, you probably would not understand what they are saying. By the way, you should learn Arabic if you want to buy any souvenirs, to take home. I Thanks to the Arabic people and the religion of Islam, the Africans were able to adapt to different cultures and traditions, which allowed there to be many different cultures that people from other nations would be able to relate with. If you were planning to go back in the past to Medieval Africa, there are going to be many cultures Hey! Maybe there might be a culture that you embrace!
