37 Tubeset TM Muffins BAKING INSTRUCTIONS BAKING TIPS Create a theme - Valentines Day, Spring Day, Mothers Day etc. Have a happy hour - muffin and beverage special Try something different with the batter - waffles, muffins on a skewer, serve with ice cream or cream, Jumbo Muffins Decorate for extra indulgence TROUBLE SHOOTING Remove Tubeset TM from outer carton and thaw at room temperature for 60 to 90 min or overnight in a refrigerator Preheat oven to between 160 o C and 180 o C Cut off one tip of the Tubeset TM Soggy muffins - Underbaked - oven temperature too low Too dry - Over baked - oven temperature too high and/or baking time too long Low volume batter - has been held at room temperature for too long before baking Pale crust - oven temperature too low and/or baking time too short Excessive peaking or cracking - oven temperature too hot Flat smooth top - Oven temperature too low * Please note that baking time may vary slightly depending on oven type, quantity of product in oven and general baking conditions. Use Tubeset TM like a piping bag and pipe batter into baking tray (yield per tube will depend on individual preference) Bake at between 160 o C and 180 o C for approximately 20 minutes Cool muffins at room temperature for 30 mins before depanning. TROUBLE SHOOTING Problem: Sagging Middles can be caused by the following: Under-baking: Pies bake from the outside in, so if the middle wasn t baked enough for it to puff and set, it will collapse when removed from the oven. Too cool: This can happen if the pie was baked at too low an oven temperature. Too soon: If the pie was placed in an oven that wasn t pre-heated. BAKED PIES HEATING INSTRUCTIONS AND TIMES KEEPING IN PIE WARMER: Store pie in preheated pie warmer at 65 o C 70 o C for maximum 5 hours. Product should be discarded after 5 hours in the pie warmer. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS (ALL PIES AND SLICES) CHILLED PRODUCTS Storage: Store at 2 o C - 5 o C always maintain the cold chain. Rotate stock on First In, First Out principle. Indicate the sell by date in the appropriate space on the packet. Add date as follows: Add 7 day s shelf life from day of defrost for chilled life and in pie warmer indicate the day of heating. FROZEN PRODUCTS Storage: Always keep the product frozen at <-18 o C. Do not refreeze if defrosted. Maintain the cold chain. Rotate stock on First In, First Out principle. The pie will take 1 day to defrost in a refrigerator or heat straight from frozen as per the heating guidelines.
