3 About us Health Chox is a sugar free chocolatier, that delivers a supreme product free of added sugars. I established Health Chox to create a Chocolatier where the word healthy is first priority. Our Chocolates are hand crafted to create a perfect edible work of art. We constantly work at developing our skills to ensure that we always deliver a supreme product, no compromises. We are located in Durban, South Africa. We operate from a small Chocolate Studio, where all our decadent, guilt free and no added sugar chocolates are made. We strive to make the most perfect and beautiful chocolates so that you can enjoy only the best.

4 Sweeteners Our chocolates are made using the finest Belgian chocolate. We use Xylitol and Maltitol which are Polyols or Sugar Alcohols, these are neither Sugar nor Alcohol. It has many health benefits, including prevention of tooth decay, managing diabetes, eliminating ear infections, improving sinus health, it aids in weight loss and has fewer calories than regular sugar. We offer a variety of Milk, Dark and White No Added Sugar Belgian Chocolates.

With the Milk, Dark and White Chocolate bars you can order a case of 42 with a mix of milk, dark and white variations. On the order form specify which flavors you would like and leave the SKU blank. After a few months I decided that this was not working the way I had hoped and took a short sabbatical. In 2011, I was geared up and ready to start fresh. The business was registered under the name Cupcake Couture Pty (Ltd). I expanded the cupcake range, and the product range to include novelty cakes and a range of sweet treats. However after some time I realized the need to change the product line to suit our customers as so many individuals were starting to lead healthier lifestyles. I have been leading a healthy lifestyle for well over 10 years. However chocolate was a weakness of mine and even though I never gave into the cravings, I constantly looked for sugar free substitutes. But most of the sugar free chocolates I tasted always left an aftertaste and a bit of disappointment. It was then that I discovered the miracle of Xylitol and started experimenting with everything sugar free. It had not occurred to me at that point that I could make my own chocolates, I felt that if I kept searching I would eventually find the perfect sugar free chocolate. It was only while I was working as a Pastry Chef, that I accidentally stumbled across the art of chocolate. The techniques, the art and creativity, the methodical process to tempering and moulding chocolate is what enticed me. I was drawn into the world of chocolate and my appetite for Chocolate Art continued to grow. I spent many hours experimenting and teaching myself the science behind tempering chocolate. The more I learnt the more there was to know and I continue to grow my knowledge in the artistic world of Chocolate to provide perfect, guilt free, decadent Chocolates to you!
