3 who we are... De Kroes bv is an international manufacturing expert of savoury private label snacks. We work closely together with many of the major retailers all over the world, share modern category management techniques and continuously develop new products. We have proven to be able to create value on a high quality level and inspire consumers with our wide range of innovative products. Proud of our rich history, which dates back more than 150 years, De Kroes never seized to be a specialist in making tasty bakery products. In our production facilities in Oosterhout (The Netherlands) and Semur en Auxois (France), we currently produce a wide range of savoury gourmet snacks, all in a variety of tasteful flavours. A culinary approach to product development has enabled us to indulge consumers all over the world. Our R&D is not only targeted at presenting a tempting variety of flavours but also focuses on basic product features such as bite, shape, appearance and shelf live. We also have an active approach towards the health aspects of our products in order to support a balanced diet of our consumers.

7 biscuits... The roots of our biscuits go back to the early 19th century when De Kroes started producing the Gorcumsche Zoute Bollen, which grew to become a famous local delicacy in the city of Gorinchem. Today we produce a wide range of our savoury biscuits, which are oven baked to enhance their crunchy bite and give them a light golden colour. Faithful to our origins, cheese is still a key ingredient for many of the biscuits. Our Gouda, Cheddar and Emmental biscuits are still very much appreciated. As our market is global and consumers constantly look for new flavours to indulge themselves, their friends and family, we composed a wide range of delicate blends.

9 mini choux... Searching restaurant menu s, our cook books and traditional shops for new products, we were inspired to develop our crispy mini choux with their tasty cream fillings in the mid 90 s. The success of the mini choux was instant, as retailers in many different countries seized the opportunity to launch a highly innovative product under their private label. Consumers continue to appreciate the mini choux ever since its launch for its delicate combination of a crispy shell with a soft centre and its capacity to surprise.

11 wafers... Our crispy filled wafers are inspired by the concept of ice cream cones. We adapted this recipe to fit our savoury product line and designed two specific shapes for snacking purposes: round wafer balls and layered squares. With the wafers being our second filled product we hope to offer not only another flavour experience but also bring variation to all sorts of occasions where friends and family gather for a drink. The delicate texture of the wafer shell perfectly matches flavour combination such as Gouda & walnuts, fine herbs or tomato & basil.

13 crackers... Our curly crackers represent another winner in our wide range of snack products. Almost two years of R&D have resulted in a very innovative and tasteful product. Consumer research has proven that the curly crackers attract a very large target audience and thus represent a considerable potential thanks to its three unique characteristics: Its crispy bite, unique curly shape and reduced fat content without making any concessions on flavour. Besides the curly shaped crackers we also produce ciabbatta, diamond and square shapes. All with the same positive characteristics as the curly crackers.

15 puff pastry... The puff pastry products of De Kroes Feuilletage are quite new but they match perfectly with all other products. The Dutch recipe results in beautiful carre s and nicely shaped palmiers with cheese, olives, herbs and bacon, and should be part of a developed savoury range of products. Also filled mini Feuilletés are available with savoury fillings like tomato and olives. The Feuilletés products are also available in sweet varieties like chocolate, raspberry and fig.

17 Oosterhout... Our factory in Oosterhout is a tailor made facility which has been operational since De Kroes bv is IFS and BRC certified at the highest level and frequently audited by major European retailers for who we manufacture private labels. All disciplines of our unique production process are managed in one central location. Purchasing, raw material storage, baking, packaging, quality control and logistics are centralized in a state of the art factory. Major investments have been made in order to obtain maximum flexibility in producing and packing of a wide range of products which are able to satisfy the needs of our customers throughout the world. 19 Semur en Auxois De Kroes Feuilletage in France is located 200 km south east of Paris in the Bourgogne in Semur en Auxois. This company is a specialist in the manufacturing of a wide range of puff pastry products. In particular savoury and sweet snacks. Being part of the De Kroes Group, De Kroes Feuilletage is a very modern and flexible facility and of course IFS and BRC certified at the highest level. The site in Semur en Auxois is also the location of De Kroes France SARL. This partner of most retailers has obtained a leading position with a wide range of savoury snacks under Private Label.
