3 Perry s Ice Cream was founded in 1918 by H. Morton Perry, as a small local dairy in Akron, New York. From its humble beginnings using hand cranks, ice, salt tub freezers, and horse-drawn delivery wagons, Perry s has grown to be one of the most modern, state-of-the-art facilities in the country to produce great-tasting ice cream, the old-fashioned way; one batch at a time. Perry s is still family owned and operated, now by the fourth generation of the Perry family. Through the manufacturing and distribution of only the finest-quality products, Perry s Ice Cream has become the number one brand throughout western and central New York. Our extensive product lines enable us to service a broad base of customers including: Local Independent Markets, Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, Dipping Stands, and Institutions. It has been quite a few years since H. Morton Perry founded the company, but one thing remains the same the Perry family tradition of quality and value in ice cream.

Once received, ice cream should be checked in immediately and moved into frozen storage. It is essential to avoid delays which allow products to be subjected to ambient temperatures before stocking into frozen storage. Melting and refreezing can cause ice crystals to form and damage the natural texture. 2. Avoid storing ice cream directly on concrete floors or against freezer walls. This can restrict important air circulation. 3.Try to keep ice cream at a constant temperature. Always stock ice cream in the rear of the freezer. 4. Rotate inventory on a first-in-first-out (FIFO) basis. Any cases not bearing rotation coding instructions should be dated upon receipt. 5. While loading ice cream into the freezer, proper inventory rotations should be followed. New products should be placed below the existing stock. 6. Establish a pattern for positioning assorted flavors of ice cream in freezer. This helps preserve the natural flavor. Avoid placing containers with conflicting flavors near each other. Certain flavors (such as mint and coffee) have a strong aroma. Be sure to keep them away from milder aroma ice creams (such as vanilla). 7. In the freezer, items should not be placed outside the designated load limit line; and care should be taken not to block air flow. 8. Consult ice cream supplier for specific recommendations. Different product formulas vary greatly. Check and follow any special storage instructions. TERMS & CONDITIONS When it comes to doing business with Perry s Ice Cream, our goal is to make it easy for you, while recognizing that both of us need to run sound and stable businesses. Policy The standard delivery charge is $25 and delivery charges are waived when orders surpass $150. Order Processing We request a two-day lead-time prior to your scheduled delivery date. Concerns regarding your orders should be directed to your Sales Representative or the Customer Service Department representatives. Invoices and Payment Terms When product is delivered, the Route Salesman will provide a delivery invoice, requiring approval as to the accuracy and condition of the product received. This invoice is to be used for payment remittance. Payment is expected in accordance with the terms as stated on the invoice. Payments not received within terms will result in a change in terms and a delay in future shipments. Past due balances are subject to a monthly finance charge of 2%/24% APR. All returned checks will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. Pricing Information and Policies It is our intention to communicate all pricing changes in advance in writing. However, Perry s Ice Cream reserves the right to update prices, product specifications and policies without prior notice. Credit for Merchandise In the event there is a problem with your order after the product is delivered, please call our Customer Service Department. Please have the following information available: Account Number, Invoice Number and Description of Problem. To ensure the safety of the product, once our product has left our possession, under no circumstances can we accept product returns.
