1 GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL Export Dairy Market Tariffs for Gulf Cooperation Council as of 01/07/2017 Saudi Arabia Subsidies Information In early 2017 the Saudi Arabia Government announced that it would terminate certain subsidies for some consumer products. As a result customs duty rates on some agricultural imports, including dairy products, have increased from 5% to between 6% and 25% for some products. The Saudi Government has not specified the exact effective date for the new customs duty rates, but started applying the new rates since late Australian companies should check with their customers in Saudi Arabia to confirm the applied rate for any products destined for Saudi Arabia.
