10 Terms & Conditions All bookings are subject to the terms & conditions set out below. Confirmation Confirmation of a function must be made within 7 days of the original reservation. A deposit payment and signed copy of these terms and conditions are required to secure a tentative booking. Failure to provide these within the time frame stipulated will result in the cancellation of your booking. ensure our maximum efficiency, the guaranteed number of guests is required 7 days prior to the event. This will be regarded as the minimum number for the catering and charging. Payment Price adjustments The cost of goods will remain the same as at the time of confirmation for a function, however all prices quoted on menus / wine lists leading up to your functions are based on current trading prices and are estimates only. These may be subject to change at the discretion of management. Compliance The function organisers will conduct the occasion in accordance to Brougham Arms Hotel policy and all other laws. Management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable person/s without liability. Any damages to the hotel by guests of your function will be the responsibility of the function organiser. Function cancellations will lose deposit paid. The venue will only be able to serve liquor in line with liquor license. The Brougham Arms Hotel will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to the client, guests or property brought into the hotel. Please inform us of any special dietary or allergen requirements. We will do our best to accommodate these requests however make no guarantee that meals will be completely allergy free. We require full payment for food 3 days prior to your function. Beverages however can be paid for on completion of your function prior to departure. 10% surcharge on public holidays applies. Minimum Spends The minimum spend can be negotiated depending on the day of the week and the time of year that the event is to be held. Therefore a change of date may incur additional costs. The quote given encompasses a minimum expenditure, spread over food and beverage that will cover the hotel for loss of revenue, due to closure to a specified area on a particular evening. It is not a fully inclusive quote and additional charges may apply. Minors & responsible service In accordance with Liquor Licensing Laws we are unable to serve intoxicated patrons or minors. It is the organiser s duty to ensure Management of the hotel is aware of the presence of any minors attending a function. A parent or adult guardian must accompany minors. Minors are not permitted in the hotel after midnight. Hotel rules & conditions Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. If any of your guests are intoxicated, causes damage to the hotel or cause discomfort to other patrons or staff, management reserves the right to ask them to leave. Dress conditions apply. Additional Information Room Available: You are more than welcome to come in and set up decorations prior to your event. However, please check first in case the room is being used during the day for another function. We do not allow scatters. Gifts & Pickup: All gifts must be taken home of the night of the function as most days we reset for new functions the following day. AV: We welcome a data presentation on our wall mounted 60 inch LCD TV. We recommend you trial it before your function. Samsung Sound Bar with optional blue tooth to play your own music through your phone.
