Without revealing too much now, a renowned hotel opened at the same address in It even hosted King Friedrich VII of Denmark. The site was also home to a military hospital, a cafe and a discotheque over the years. With the advent of Hotel Hafen Flensburg, the site has returned to its original purpose a flagship hotel addressing individual needs and offering everything for a pleasant stay. 5

We will be pleased to set up a contact for you to inquire about these premises. For an event on the fjord you can hire the Gesine, a former freighter. This charming ship offers space for up to 30 persons. The hire costs vary depending on the date and the desired catering. If you re interested, just talk to us. This is where carriages once halted for guests to alight and enter the restaurant. While the mode of arrival may be somewhat different nowadays, the atmosphere is still as unique as ever. Especially smaller groups can have great time eating here together and enjoy the view out of the big windows. We will be pleased to serve you our set menus in our carriage passage. 14

Therefore we offer Captains Lounge and Kayser s Suite as alternative conferencing environments which ensure a relaxed and flexible atmosphere and which are perfectly suitable for smaller conventions and conferences. Depending on the planned meeting the specific requirements on equipment and catering will vary. Just contact us together we will prepar the optimum package for your Creative Sail. Every conference package requires a minimum of 10 participants. And it also gives you the chance to see Flensburg from a different side. Together you will sail the sometimes stormy waters in small teams with experienced skippers. Equipped with a tablet (ipad) and a GPS device the participants have to move to touristic or cultural highlights in order to answer questions and solve exciting team tasks. The aim is to collect as many points as possible in a defined time. The Tabtour software does not reveal the next task until the teams arrive at a tab spot. You and your colleagues will be challenged with a large variety of company-related and locationspecific team tasks, brainteasers, and funny questions covering all kinds of topics. This way you get to know Flensburg from a completely different perspective. It requires a good deal of intuition and concentration. The objective is to position a stone as close as possible to a specific point. Our mobile curling mat can be installed anywhere, indoors or outdoors. The architects were impressively able to conserve four of the old building facades, from Schiffbrücke 32 to 36, in harmony with the new buildings. The historic biography of our buildings, their architectural variety and heterogeneous use is unique in Flensburg and possibly anywhere in Europe.
