Please read through this packet as it will outline the schedule, map of school, offered concessions, and even some extras! We hope you enjoy your day at Boerne, the Key to the Hills. From San Antonio: Get on I-10 W. Follow I-10 W to US-87 BUS N in Boerne. Take exit 542 from I-10 W. Continue on US-87 BUS N. Take Herff Rd and S Esser Rd to Greyhound Ln. From Houston: Get on I-45 N. Follow I-10 W and TX-1604 Loop to US-87 BUS N in Boerne. Take exit 542 from I-10 W/US-87 N. Continue on US-87 BUS N. Take Herff Rd and S Esser Rd to Greyhound Ln. From Austin: Get on I-35 S from E 5th St and N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd. Follow I-35 S, TX-1604 Loop W and I-10 W/US-87 N to US-87 BUS N in Boerne. Take exit 542 from I-10 W/US-87 N. Continue on US-87 BUS N. Take Herff Rd and S Esser Rd to Greyhound Ln. From San Angelo: Get on US-277 N/US-67 N. Follow US-87 S, US-83 S and I-10 E to US-87 BUS S/N Main St in Kendall County. 3 Facilities Equipment warmup in auxiliary gym Competition in main gym
4 Buses will enter the main entrance from S Esser onto Greyhound lane, contestants will be dropped off at the front of the school (1). Check in will be located at front gates (2) Directors will receive wrist bands for their school, and a guide will be assigned to guide each school. Follow assigned guide to the cafeteria (3) to settle into the area assigned. Changing area and contestant concessions will be available. At the appropriate time, contestants will be guided to the band hall (4) for body warm up. Movement warmup will be in the practice gym (5) Props to be picked up on way to performance gym (6) Floor mats to be refolded (7). Percussion warm up area (8) First aid Station (9) Spectators will be parking at front area of school. (A) Handicap parking is available in 2 separate locations. Buses will be parked (E) after dropping off contestants. Volunteers will be onsite to direct. Props will be unloaded by the back area of parking lot near the practice gym. (D) Trailers will park in the nearby parking lot. (B) Volunteers will be onsite to direct. Judges will have separate parking. (C)

8 SPECTATOR/JUDGES SEATING AREA Exit Enter GUARD/PERCUSSION SEATING AREA Post Performance After you exit the performance area, staff members will need to make sure that all their equipment is put away, then proceed to the sound table and pick up your show music. Judges comments will be delivered electronically through Competition Suite. As always, there will be a critique session hosted by the adjudicators and TECA for you to attend in the theatre Black Box across the hall from Movement Warmup. Outside food or drink will not be allowed inside the school. The cafeteria and hallways are traffic areas only. Students and Staff will not spin, toss or maneuver equipment inside any of the buildings at any time other than in designated warm-up areas. If you need extra equipment warm-up, you may do so outside in the courtyard or any other designated general warmup area. We will be using a Vertical Time line flow for the performance area, from audience view, you will enter in left side back corner of the gym and exit through the right side back corner of the gym after your performance.
