GP Services Dr Lehmann will be available on Monday 24 December and Friday 28 December, Monday 31 December and Friday 4 January. Dr Lehmann will be on leave Monday 7 January returning on Monday 21 January. Dr Patrick will provide cover on the Mondays and Fridays during Dr Lehmann s leave. Taxi Services Remember to book early if you require a taxi or access cab for Christmas Day (Access Cab ) and for catering purposes, we ask families to advise staff in advance if residents will be off site for lunch on Christmas Day. Rembrandt Court are happy to offer a wheelchair to assist in taking a resident out, however we have limited wheelchairs available. We will only book wheel chairs on a first in first serve basis. If you require a wheelchair please speak with staff and book the chair for the intended day/time. We trust that chairs will only be booked for required timeframes to allow others the opportunity to also utilise this offer. Alternatively, you may wish to hire one from an external provider. Hospitality Services Please note there will be no Laundry or Cleaning Service on Christmas Day

Residents and families please inform nursing staff as soon as possible if residents are going out over the Christmas period. and residents must still see the nurse before leaving so that all medications required for the day can be given to the family. We can assist with general household cleaning, spring cleaning, personal care, meal preparation, meal delivery service, shopping, gardening, nursing and medication as well as companionship. The Home Care Office is closed from The Home Care Hub will close at 4.30pm, on Friday 21 December and reopen 8.30am on Thursday 27 December The Home Care After Hours services will be available during this period of closure. Merry Christmas from the Home Care Team KLEINE CAFÉ The Kleine Café is open 7 days a week from 10.00am to and is a great place to meet family a friends for a delicious meal or choose from a selection of hot beverages and cakes. A variety of specialty grocery items are also available including last minute Christmas treats. Reach out this Festive Season The Red Cross recently launched the Season of Belonging Campaign to create awareness in the community regarding isolation and loneliness at this time of year. This campaign is a great reminder to reach out to others, particularly at this time of year when people often feel isolated.
