2 July 22, Greetings Little League Families, Congratulations on advancing to the Massachusetts Little League State Championship Tournament, it is a great accomplishment and a result of tremendous effort and dedication working together as a team. You join three other teams to compete to represent Massachusetts in the Little League World Series, something that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. On behalf of the Millbury Little League Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you, your players and their families, and everyone that will be in the stands to support your team. We hope you enjoy your time in Millbury and at Washington Street Field, we take great pride in our town and in our premier field, we have been working together for several months to make sure every detail has been thought through in an effort to make your time at this tournament as memorable as possible. This package is intended to provide you with as much information as possible so that your tournament week can be as worry free and informative as possible. To help make this experience manageable, each Sectional team will be provided with a dedicated Team Leader, this person will be your point of contact throughout the entire tournament. You will be introduced to your Team Leader at the Welcome Luncheon on Thursday July 26 th and you will receive all of their contact information at that time. Good luck as you prepare and play over the next few days, we look forward to meeting each of you in person on Thursday. 6 Accommodations The official tournament host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Auburn, located at Johnson Street in Auburn, The room rate for tournament team families is only $139 per night for standard hotel room rental and $159 per night for a room with two queen size beds, the hotel phone number is (508) The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and quickservice dining options. Note that the deadline for booking reservations at the tournament rate is Monday July 23 rd, after that the tournament rate is not guaranteed nor is the availability of rooms guaranteed.

7 Parking Parking is limited at Washington Street Field, therefore each team will be provided with four (4) parking passes that will allow you to park at the field lots. Parking passes will be distributed at the Welcome Luncheon on Thursday July 26 th. Satellite parking with shuttle buses will be provided throughout the tournament starting 1-hour before the first game and ending 1-hour after the last game each day. The satellite parking lots are: Elmwood Street Elementary School at 40 Elmwood Street, which is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the field (Bus A) Raymond E. Shaw Elementary School at 58 Elmwood Street, which is approximately 1 mile from the field (Bus B) Handicap parking is available at Washington Street Field for those with handicap placards or handicap license plates. Carpooling is strongly recommended. There will be no parking allowed on the streets surrounding Washington Street Field including Washington Street, Elmwood Street, West Main Street, Gould Street, Elm Court, and Waters Court.
