1 Term 2& Programs Ballarat NDIS Group funding is required to attend Element Element is a new group, specifically for people aged from 11 yrs to 15 years. It is an opportunity to develop or learn new skills and also have some fun. The program will offer cooking, games, social activities including some excursions throughout the term. Parents/carers can stay for a coffee or collect their child at the end of the session. WellWays Office, 53 Humffray st Ballarat North Day and time: Every Thursday, commencing 12 th July 4pm 6pm $3 per session. Excursions will incur an extra cost. CRAFT Ballarat South Uniting Church has an established craft group where you can try your hand at varied craft techniques and mediums. This is an opportunity to link in with the community in a relaxed supported way. Come along to a craft group then enjoy some lunch provided by the church. Ballarat South Uniting Church. 104 Albert St Sebastopol. Day and time: Every Wednesday 9.30am 12.30pm Wellways CREATIVE CREW Creative Crew is run Thursday 10am-3pm, this program incorporates participant chosen art and crafts, painting, colouring, and a variety of other craft activities. Participants cook their choice of lunch every Thursday, as well as watching movies, and playing games. Come along and join in the fun. WellWays Office 53 Humffray Street Ballarat North Day and Time: Every Thursday 10am-3pm $3 per session Peer to Peer Publishing An eight session peer-led workshop supporting people with a mental illness to develop their writing skills and confidence. Interest in writing, learning, sharing, collaborating and creating with peers in a relaxed, social environment. Information on editing and publishing. 2 MI RECOVERY Mi Recovery provides up to date information about mental health and recovery, and will support you to identify personal strengths, develop strategies to manage illness and plan for your future. Individuals need to commit to the 10-week program. WellWays will provide you with a work book. WellWays Office, 53 Humffray st Ballarat North Day and time: Every Wednesday, commencing 5 th July 10am-1pm Winter Warmer Lunches NO FUNDING REQUIRED Come along every Monday, to a warm office and a tasty lunch. This is a chance to catch up with other participants over lunch, along with meeting and catching up with other support staff. 3 Wellways Social Connections Come along to a group social night or day. They are all about hanging out and having a bit of fun, making friends, and just getting out of the house for the day. They are listed below; all information is included. Booking is required as there may be limited spots available.
