1 Spring 2018 Summer Jobs Fair LSU Student Union Free Speech Plaza *Back-up location due to inclement weather will be in the LSU Student Union Ballroom Tuesday, February 20, a.m. to 2 p.m. TRAVEL INFORMATION The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) is approximately 30 minutes from campus and the New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately 90 miles from campus. Employers are advised to rent a car at the airport and drive to campus. EVENT PARKING A map with directions to event parking appears at the end of this document. Parking permits will not be provided for this event. CHECK-IN / SETUP Recruiter Check-In and Set-up will begin at 9 a.m. at the Royal Cotillion Ballroom entrance. Please allow ample time for parking and set-up prior to the start of the event. As our check-in process requires a business card, please have your card ready upon entry. If you do not have a business card, we will check you in manually. Please note: A $50 fee will be assessed if you register for the event and do not send a representative. **Important Reminder: Pop up banners and large signage is not permitted at this event. Small table signage no bigger than legal letter size paper, personalized linens and giveaways are acceptable.** EVENT FORMAT Recruiters, please be mindful that class hours for students vary. Many students who wish to attend the event may not be able to do so until later in the day. We ask all attendees to remain for the duration of the event.

2 LUNCH Lunch is on your own. If you leave to get lunch, be sure that there is someone at your table. (If you are the only recruiter from your organization, please inform an LSU Olinde Career Center staff member regarding lunch.) The lunch hour is a time of increased activity around the Student Union so you will want to be sure to have someone at your table to accommodate the students. If eating in the Union, recruiters are encouraged to download the Tapingo app to pre-order/pay for meals to avoid lines during the lunch hour. Directions to campus and parking for the LSU Summer Jobs Fair Event Locations: LSU Student Union Suggested Route to Reach Event Parking from I-10: Take the Acadian Thruway/LSU exit (157B) from I-10.

4 Directions to campus and parking for the LSU Summer Jobs Fair Event Locations: LSU Student Union Suggested Route to Reach Event Parking from I-10: Take the Acadian Thruway/LSU exit (157B) from I-10. If exiting from the eastbound off-ramp you will take a right onto Acadian Thruway; if exiting from the westbound off-ramp you will take a left onto Acadian Thruway. Take Acadian Thruway (which turns into Stanford Ave. and then into LSU Ave.) to Highland Road. Turn right on Highland Road. After entering the South Gates of campus, continue until Raphael Semmes Road. Take a right on Raphael Semmes Road. Once on Raphael Semmes Road, Barnes and Noble Bookstore will be on your right hand side. The parking structure is located in the rear of the Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Turn right onto E. Campus Dr., then right in to the parking structure. Alternate Route from I-10: Take the Dalrymple Drive/LSU exit (156B) from I-10. Both eastbound and westbound traffic will turn right onto Dalrymple Drive from the off-ramp. Continue straight onto Dalrymple Drive onto campus and pass through the roundabout. Turn left at East Campus Drive (immediately past the LSU Lab School) and the entrance to the parking garage is to your right just after the stop sign at Raphael Semmes (located behind the Barnes & Noble Bookstore). If you are coming from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport: Take I-110 South, merge to I-10 East and follow the suggested route directions above. If you are coming from New Orleans International Airport: Take I-10 West and follow the suggested route directions above.

5 Once inside Parking Structure: *Please park in any designated number space (levels 2-4) * Once parked, look at the number of the spot you parked in. You will need to enter the space umber into the pay station. * Locate closest stairway/elevator to find a pay station. * You must pay before you leave the parking structure. * Enter parking space number and payment into the pay station. * A receipt will be printed once payment is accepted. * Retain your receipt, as you may need it to add additional time at any pay station on campus. Walking directions to the Student Union: *Find closest stairway/elevator *Exit at ground level *Take an immediate left upon exiting the parking structure *You will be walking toward Raphael Semmes Road *Turn left on Raphael Semmes Road *Student Union will be on your left hand side *Follow signs to direct you to Student Union *LSU Olinde Career Center staff members will be available for questions or assistance. For questions before the event date, please call the LSU Olinde Career Center at **If you do not pay for you space at the pay station, you will receive a parking violation ticket. We cannot assist with paying or fixing of these violation tickets.**
