1 BAVARIAN EVENT LOCATIONS IN MUNICH Destination: Munich Traveldate: Jan 01, Dec 31, 2014 Pax: Löwenbräukeller Nymphenburgerstrasse 2, Munich Bavarian, cosy, traditional and full of life: in our traditional Munich restaurant, the brewer s room, the lion roars daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Typically Bavarian delicacies and varied daily meals are served with Löwenbräu beer öspecialties. Due to the extensive renovations during the summer 2008, the restaurant has become much friendlier and brighter and also features a great number of technical innovations. Up to 240 guests can either sit in the traditional-style public bar area or in the more elegant and high-quality part of the restaurant. And for groups of all sizes appropriate premises are available, such as cosy little side rooms and separate small rooms. Note: The Starkbeerfest is taking place during that period and as the Bennosaal (picture on the right) is located close to the main rooms (Festsaal), music and noise might be hearable in the Bennosaal as well. 2 Hofbräukeller Innere Wiener Strasse 19, Munich Munich hospitality and Bavarian beer tradition come together in the Hofbräukeller at Wiener Platz. For more than a hundred years, locals and guests from all over the world came to enjoy the famous Höfbräuhaus beer as well as hearty delicacies. If the weather permits, the idyllic beer garden with ancient chestnut trees is a place to relax enjoy beer and snacks. For events, whether family or business, the Maximilian parlor and the small and the large Festival Hall can be reserved on the first floor. Eduard Reinbold and his sons Louis and Mathias, today's chefs, provide with around 120 employees and the 25-strong kitchen brigade for the pleasure of his guests. The well-kept Bavarian cuisine is known far beyond the country's borders for its Weißwurst (Bavarian veal sausage) with Franciscan mustard is completed by the specialty beers. 3 Der Pschorr Viktualienmarkt 15, Mü nchen The inn is a meeting place for locals, residents and tourists. In a pleasant atmosphere you can enjoy excellent beer, Bavarian cuisine and friendly service. Located in the heart of the historic old town is Der Pschorr next to the Viktualienmarkt and Schrannenhalle. In the summer, you can admire the colourful market from the beer garden. 4 Augustiner am Dom Frauenplatz 8, Munich Welcome to the Augustiner am Dom! A great little Augustiner public house located immediately next to Munich's cathedral - the Frauenkirche. The ambience suits typical Bavarian Munich cooking: comfortable and traditional. This concerns also the beer gardens. You will find individual service everywhere in a lot of details: in the cover, the table cloth, the decoration, the seating s and the atmospheric room illumination. Augustiner beer is freshly tapped by the wooden barrel. 3 floors in comfortable ambience with 400 seats in the whole house. Each floor has its own bar and is accessible with our elevator. Particularly suitable for your celebration or conference. Upstairs is particularly cosy and there are great window tables with a view out over the Frauenplatz below. Maximum amount of guests in the larger room: 170 Augustiner Grossgaststätte Neuhauser Strasse 27, Munich The Augustiner restaurant in the bustling pedestrian zone between Marienplatz routes to be the last original preserved Munich brewery restaurant in the city centre. The large beer hall just behind the entrance is full of life. The kitchen serves delicious roast, but also specialties such as baked calf's head or oxtail stew. The sausages are all from their own butchery. A Bavarian evening can be arranged, with a true Oktoberfest feeling, including Bavarian Musician, blue white table cloths, barrel opening ceremony, 50l beer barrel, starter, buffet and dessert. 5 Augustinerkeller Arnulfstrasse 52, Munich The Augustinerkeller is centrally located and is known for its friendly service. The Festsaal, a large Bavarian hall, can be exclusively reserved for you. It is a comfortable room to enjoy the typical Bavarian cuisine. Splendid old paintings, imposing chandeliers and a wooden ceiling with numerous carvings make this room something special.
