Thank you for considering Glengarry as a potential venue for your special day. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Drakensberg mountains, Glengarry is a beautiful venue for a country wedding.

Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Drakensberg mountains, Glengarry is a beautiful venue for a country wedding. Every season is extremely different in summer the hills are lush and green; in autumn the trees are a hundred different colours; in winter the earth is bare but the mountains wear a dusting of snow; and in spring the English Country Garden bursts to life. St Peters Church in the Kamberg is a lovely little stone church about 8km away from Glengarry. Alternatively we create Nature s Church at Glengarry on the deck overlooking the dam and golf course. Our big thatch hall opens onto a lovely outdoor setting which is perfect for summer afternoon champagne and canapés. The Hall has under floor heating and an open fire place for the cold winter nights. Catering is included with a selection of menu options to suit your tastes and budget. Glengarry has 10 self catering thatch cottages and the River Cottage providing comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to 40 of your guests. The Shed rooms can accommodate another 32 people sharing and we have 40 campsites for the wild at heart. There is enough other accommodation within 5km to accommodate the rest of your guests. Glengarry has outstanding facilities including a 9-hole golf course, a bowling green, river tubing, fly fishing, animal farm and trails to hike and ride so that your guests can really make a weekend of the occasion. Chairs and white stretch chair covers (for indoors use only) Crockery, cutlery and glassware Cake knife & table Staff waitresses and barmen Setting up of the venue - We will position and set the tables with crockery, cutlery and glassware but the bridal party is responsible for decorating the venue. We highly recommend Ester Dobin from Midlands Style Events Taking down and all cleaning and clearing away Bathrooms A free weekend at Glengarry on your first anniversary Service at the Dam - Venue Hire Fee is R2 500 and includes: Venue Manager and Co-ordinator Staff Tables for canapés and drinks Set up, taking down and clearing away Bathrooms Please note that you must supply your own seating at the dam. Terms & Conditions: 1. To confirm your wedding date - The full venue hire fee is payable within 14 days failing which your provisional booking will automatically fall away. 2. Venue Hire fee is base on weddings between 50 and 100 people; for larger or smaller weddings the venue hire fee will increase or decrease accordingly 3. The Venue hire fee is from Friday 8am Saturday Midnight. Beyond midnight is R500 per hour or any part thereof. 4. All prices are subject to an annual increase each year in October.

CHALETS 10 X Self-catering thatch cottages provide comfortable and cosy accommodation. Chalets are 1 or 2 bedroomed. All chalets have a kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining room with a fire place.

The capacity of the Chalets is 40 people sharing or 20 people in individual rooms. COST: R440 per adult and R310 per child per night.

4 CHALETS 10 X Self-catering thatch cottages provide comfortable and cosy accommodation. Chalets are 1 or 2 bedroomed. All chalets have a kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining room with a fire place. The kitchens are fully equipped including a countertop oven and stove, microwave, fridge and freezer. All linen and bath towels are provided. Each chalet has its own braai area and is serviced daily. The capacity of the Chalets is 40 people sharing or 20 people in individual rooms. COST: R440 per adult and R310 per child per night. RIVER COTTAGE This is a 4 Bedroom, 2 bathroom house set away from the other cottages. Ideal for the Bride and her entourage to get ready. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a big open plan living area. A deck and an indoor outdoor fire place..all linen and bath towels are provided. COST: R3500 for the cottage per night THE SHED The Shed is purpose built accommodation and consists of 8 small rooms with 2 bunk beds in each room. Each room can sleep up to 4 people. These beds have a fitted sheet, but no other linen is provided, please BYO. The shed has a men s bathroom and a ladies bathrooms as well as a communal kitchenette. The capacity of the shed is 32 people sharing or 8 people in individual rooms. COST: R600 per room per night. (Each room has 4 beds) CAMPSITES Glengarry has 40 campsites beautifully situated with magnificent views. All sites are powered, grassed, partly shaded and have serviced ablutions. COST: R150 per adult and R120 per child per night. OTHER ACCOMMODATION IN THE KAMBERG There is enough accommodation within 5km to accommodate the rest of your guests (Kamberg Accom list provided upon request). Accommodation may be booked and paid for by the Bridal Party and then past or sold onto guests. Alternatively guests may book directly through Glengarry. Please note that for weekend weddings there is a 2 night min booking required.

5 All the food served at Glengarry is sourced locally and home cooked by Rose. Our lamb is home grown and beef supplied by Merrivale Meats. Gammon is grown and cured by Caz at Dargle Valley. Most of our veggies and salad ingredients are in season and fresh from our garden. Our food is laid out buffet style. Here are our menu options but please feel to discuss this with us so that we can tailor it to your tastes and budget. Our Bar Price list is available on request. Brides and Grooms are welcome to bring their own wine and champagne for a corkage fee of R40 per bottle. Alternatively all of our wines are part of the South African Biodiversity Winlands Initiative.
