Have coffee/snack shops in classroom buildings on campus rather than vending machines (or in addition to). More variety in offerings at Valhalla. More places like that to sit and eat - comfortable, relaxed, soft lighting, etc. faculty dining room that would allow people to bring lunch or buy lunch and would recognize HOW MUCH TIMES FACULTY HAVE TO EAT!!!! Vahalla Room Food was AWESOME this year..don't change a thing A better variety of food. The quality of the soups and "comfort" food has diminished over the past few years. The soups and "home-cooked" HuskyDen foods used to be interesting and delicious. Now they are often unappetizing so I seldom eat on campus. I can bring my own lunch or eat off campus for really "good" food and a nicer atmosphere. If we are going to get another chain, we should get something that is popular and appetizing-- Chipotle or Quizno's for example. People are willing to pay for good food and beverages--note the lines for the coffee shop in Atwood. I think the university does a good job. I would like to see better staff in Valhalla so that staff could eat lunch there. It is too slow for a normal lunch period. More variety of choices. Drop prices for luncheon meals - too much money for what you get. Better tasting food in Atwood. More for your money, if you are paying a lot of money you really should get what you are paying for. Food does not have a lot of taste, and if not appealing to the eye. I employ a student worker who is diabetic, and she frequently discusses with me her concerns for lack of options at Garvey for students with diabetes. It seems this is an area that needs to be addressed. An old fashioned burger grill with french fries would be a welcome change More variety in vegetarian options. The food on campus is excellent - especially Vallhala. Thank you for your good work.
