7 Springwood Tower Private Terms and Conditions 1. TENTATIVE BOOKINGS / DEPOSIT: A tentative booking will be held for fourteen (14) days only. A deposit of $ is required within fourteen (14) days together with a signed Function Agreement to confirm your booking. This amount will be credited to your account. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel unsecured bookings if deposit and Terms and Conditions are not received in this time. On receipt of the deposit and signed Terms and Conditions your function will be confirmed. 2. CANCELLATIONS: Two (2) month prior to date of the function, where the notification is provided in writing, you are entitled to the deposit refunded in full less a $ administration fee. Cancellations made less than two (2) months prior NON REFUNDABLE. 3. PAYMENT: We will require full payment for meals and room hire 5 days prior to the event. Bar tabs are to be settled on the evening by credit card or cash only. 4. A GUARANTEED FINAL NUMBER: Of guests attending the function is required five (5) working days prior to the commencement of the event. With catering of meals, the number that is confirmed will be the minimum charge. Shrinkage of your numbers will not be waivered. 5. CHANGES/VARIATIONS: The hotel reserves the right to change a function room where it deems necessary due to possible maintenance problems with the room. Every possible effort is taken to maintain menus and prices, but these are subject to change at the management s discretion. 6. LOSS OR DAMAGE: to the hotel property, carpet, fixtures or fittings caused by the client, guest, agent or contractors before, during or after the function will be the financial responsibility of the organizer. No items are to be attached, pinned or glued to the wall surfaces in any pre-function or function room. 7. ENTERTAINMENT: The hotel reserves the right to control the quality, style and volume of any entertainment booked. Due to Council Regulations the noise level must be reduced at 10:30pm and completely turned of at 11:30pm. 8. INSURANCE: The hotel will take all reasonable care to protect the property of its guest, but accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to merchandise or other property in the hotel, prior to, during or after the function. We recommend that organizers take out their own insurance. 9. ALCOHOL & CATERING: No alcohol or private catering is permitted to be brought into function rooms. Wedding/Birthday cakes being the exception. 10. ALL FUNCTIONS: Must finish at 11.00pm. The hotel reception closes at 10.30pm and doors to the building are locked. 11. CONDUCT OF GUEST: The hotel reserves the right to remove any guest from the premises if they behave in an unreasonable manner. We also adhere to the Responsible Service of Alcohol act. 12. AGREEMENT: The hotel will take reasonable steps to ensure that the conditions of this agreement are observed, however the hotel will not be responsible if it is unable to carry out the terms of the agreement due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e.: industrial action, government intervention, etc. A signed copy of this agreement is required on confirmation of booking.
