Honoring its namesake, Cindy Pritzker - the philanthropic mother of our hotel s co-founder, John Pritzker - the restaurant embodies a graceful devotion to the City in which it overlooks, apparent throughout ambiance, flavor, and experience. Cindy s is conveniently located within the Financial District, also known as the Loop, close to iconic attractions including Millennium Park, the Art Institute, Museum Campus, lakefront and more all showcased with sweeping views from the terrace. The airy space boasts vaulted glass ceilings flooding the dining room with natural light, a beautiful juxtaposition against the restored hotel s true-to-gothic interior. Complementing the atmosphere reminiscent of a Lake Michigan beach house, Cindy s food and beverage team rotates offerings to highlight the Midwest s bountiful seasonality. 3 OUR EVENTS LUNCH, BRUNCH, DINNERS, AND COCKTAIL RECEPTIONS Cindy s accommodates private and semi-private events during lunch, brunch, dinner or late night. Whether it be networking events, dinner parties, bridal showers or engagement celebrations, our space fits every need for groups of 12 to 45 guests. LARGE SCALE EVENTS For larger groups, full use of the restaurant may be reserved. Cindy s can accommodate 125 guests for a seated family-style dinner or 150 for a standing cocktail reception. Full buyouts include full use of our entire restaurant, our indoor and outdoor bar, fire pit and terrace. Cindy s has hosted corporate events, casual weddings and birthday parties. UNIQUE AND CUSTOM EVENTS Cindy s sommelier and culinary team look forward to creating a special experience with custom wine, beer and spirit tastings as well as customized menus for your event. EVENT SPACE MINIMUMS Minimums vary by event space, time, and day of the week. All minimums are based on a 3-hour event time, or 4 hours for full buyouts. The room opens up to a beautiful brick fireplace adorned by an original Andy Warhol portrait of Cindy Pritzker.

4 ABOUT OUR SPACES PRIVATE DINING ROOM THE LIBRARY The Library offers an exclusive dining experience for both special occasions and corporate functions. The space features floor-to-ceiling glass partitions along the interior wall, allowing visibility of the main dining room while limiting its ambient sounds. The room opens up to a beautiful brick fireplace adorned by an original Andy Warhol portrait of Cindy Pritzker. Our beautiful atrium floods the space with natural light, while the enclosed glass exterior wall encourages guests to gaze onto the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. Weather permitting, parties hosted in the Library are able to reserve the south portion of the outdoor terrace adjacent to the private dining room. The private dining room can accommodate up to 30 seated and 45 standing. The Library is named as tribute to the lifelong work of Cindy Pritzker, who founded the Chicago Public Library Foundation in 1986 and helped open the Harold Washington Library in the Loop

The Lakeview couch can accommodate 12 guests for a casual cocktail reception with light bites. 7 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT KIND OF ENVIRONMENT AND SERVICE CAN I EXPECT AT CINDY S? Cindy s is a casual, upscale restaurant and bar. Servers are attentive and well educated in the food and beverage industry. Private events offer fine dining service in a fun, relaxed environment. Guests are comfortable in both jeans and suits. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? We are located on the rooftop of the Chicago Athletic Association hotel on the corner of Madison and Michigan Avenue in the Loop. WHAT KIND OF DEPOSIT OR PAYMENT IS NEEDED? 25 percent (25%) of the estimated event total will be due upon signing a contract. All additional charges incurred during the event will be charged to the credit card on file. A corporate check may be used as long it is received ten business days prior to the event s date with a credit card on file for day-of overages. HOW LONG WILL MY EVENT LAST? Event pricing is based on a 3-hour event time, or 4 hours for a full restaurant buyout. Events may be extended at an additional cost that will be added to your required minimum food and beverage spend. HOW SOON IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO SELECT THE MENU? Menus must be selected ten business days prior to your event date. If menu selections are not received by this deadline, chef s choice will apply. Menu selections and pricing are subject to change due to availability of product. CAN I BRING MY OWN DESSERT? We encourage you to celebrate your occasion with a custom cake made by our talented pastry team. More than 72 hours notice is required for all custom orders. Outside vendors and desserts must be approved by Cindy s management; Dessert plating fees will apply

8 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CAN I RENT THE OUTDOOR TERRACE? Weather permitting, parties hosted in the Library are able to reserve the south portion of the outdoor terrace adjacent to the indoor space. The added rental fee will not be charged in the case that weather does not allow terrace occupancy. IS THERE VALET? Valet parking is located at 71 E. Madison Ave and available for your guests at a lowered rate of $18 with Cindy s validation. Guests may pay for parking individually or you may arrange to route charges to the master bill. Tickets may be validated at the restaurant host stand. WHAT AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE? Our in-house A/V team, Encore Event Technologies offers A/V capabilities for hire upon request. WHAT DÉCOR IS INCLUDED? Cindy s offers complimentary use of our restaurant florals, tea lights and custom menus upon request. Balloons, signs and banners are not allowed in the hotel s public area or main dining space. Requested signage in Cindy s private dining room must be approved. DO I HAVE TO USE SPECIFIC VENDORS? Cindy s does not require the use of specific vendors for your event, however, we are happy to provide recommendations.
