We will of course be happy to help you in person with any questions or requests you may have during your stay. ADAPTER - NEED POWER? In Switzerland the voltage is 220/230 volts. You can borrow the most common adapters and extension cables for free at the reception. Should you wish to keep them a charge of CHF will apply. COOLING-SYSTEM FEELING TOO HOT? All our 4* rooms have a cooling-system and it can be controlled via the small panel on the wall. Please note that the systems capacity can cool down the temperature of the room to max 5 degrees below the outdoor temperature. BREAKFAST - HUNGRY IN THE MORNING? Breakfast is served in our restaurant Taverne on the ground floor from until am and on Sundays from until 10.30am and is included in your room rate. Our buffet offers you a variety of cold and warm dishes and you will also find vegetarian options. CHANGING OF BEDDING AND TOWELS We change bed-linen every 3rd day of your stay. Towels will be changed if you leave them on the floor in the bath room. CHECK IN & OUT - WE ARE GLAD YOU CAME AND SAD YOU'RE LEAVING. Reserved rooms are available from pm Latest check-out time is am

2 EXTENSION LATE CHECK-OUT WILL BE CHARGED AS FOLLOWS: From noon until pm an extra charge of CHF From pm until pm an extra charge of CHF After pm you will be charged the full daily rate. Extensions are only possible upon request and if availability permits. By early departures we charge the full amount of the reserved days. Should we be able to sell the rooms to another party, the amount will be refunded. If you are leaving earlier than am we kindly ask you to settle the bill the evening prior to departure. EXTRA BEDS TRAVELLING AS A FAMILY? In some rooms there is the possibility of adding an extra bed. Tap-water in Switzerland is of a very high quality and you can drink it without any hesitation. Not drinkable water is always well signed with Kein Trinkwasser ( no drinking water ). Mineral water can be bought from the vending machine on the ground floor or at the Restaurant Taverne. INTERNET CORNER - KEEP IN CONTACT. Our internet corner on the second floor provides a computer and a printer which you can use free of charge. You will not need a password for login.

3 KLOSTER LOUNGE & BAR - VISIT THE OLD STABLES. Our Kloster Lounge & Bar is situated on the ground floor. The Bar is open Tuesday to Saturday from pm until midnight. The Lounge is open daily and drinks (no cocktails) can be ordered from the Restaurant. LAUNDRY SERVICE - DID THE WAITER SPILL ON YOUR SHIRT? WE CAN HELP. Laundry bags are placed in the wardrobe. Please fill in the list and place everything in the bag. Make sure you hand it to the housekeeping or front desk before a.m. For dry cleaning we use a local dry cleaner. LIFT NO YOU DON T HAVE TO WALK. The Hotel Interlaken disposes of 1 lift which will take you up to the 4 th floor. To reach the rooms on our 5 th floor you will have to use the stairs from there. LUGGAGE STORAGE - NO NEED TO CARRY IT ALL AROUND. Should you arrive early or decide to leave late on the day of departure you can leave your luggage with us at the reception - for free :-) (please note: we decline all liability). Chargeable lockers are available at the Interlaken West and Ost train station NO SMOKING PLEASE! - AND WE MEAN IT! Please notice that the entire hotel is non-smoking by Swiss law since July If you smoke inside the room or on the balcony, we will charge you a special cleaning fee of CHF or one night accommodation charge in case we will have to block the room. Smoking is allowed outside the hotel e.g. in front of the restaurant or on the lounge terrace. Thank you for not smoking in the room. The next guests will be thankful.

4 PAYMENT HOW CAN I SETTLE MY ACCOUNT? We accept the following methods of payment: American Express Visa Mastercard Diners Club Postcard EC / Maestro Reka card & cheques We do not accept WIR and Travellers cheques. PARKING - YES, WE HAVE FREE PARKING. BUT ONLY LIMITED. SORRY! The yellow lined parking fields behind the hotel and opposite the hotel are free of charge. You will also find free spaces next to our park. Payable public parking spaces are available next to the church behind the hotel. You can purchase parking tickets for the public parking at the front desk (CHF for 24 hours). The space directly in front of the hotel is reserved for loading and unloading luggage. Thank you for not parking there. RED CARD - WHAT DOES IT MEAN? If you do not want anyone to disturb you, please put the Do Not Disturb sign (red card) on the outside of the door. When leaving the room please do not forget to remove the sign again (green card). Please be informed that the room will not be cleaned after p.m. RESTAURANT TAVERNE - HUNGRY AGAIN? WE ARE HERE FOR YOU ALL DAY. Our à la Carte Restaurant Taverne is located on the ground floor and serves Swiss specialities as well as international dishes and selected wines. The restaurant is non-smoking. Opening hours: am until pm Warm meals can be ordered from noon to pm as well as from pm to pm. You can also book our half board 3-course menu at CHF per person. Should you have any speciel requests or allergies please let us know. Reservations can be made at directly at the restaurant, by dialing 616 or through the reception team.

5 ROOM SERVICE - FEELING LAZY? We offer room service during the following service hours: noon until pm and pm until pm. You will find a full menu displayed in your room. Please contact our Restaurant Taverne under the direct No 616 ROOM KEY CARDS - KEY INFORMATION TO CHECKING OUT. Please hand in all your key cards upon departure. They are recycled and used again. Lost keys will be charged with CHF TELEVISION - FREE TV - NEED SOME TIME OFF FROM THOSE HOLIDAYS? WATCH TELE. On the television you can receive more than 40 channels in many different languages. Please consult the channel list to find your favourite programs. On channel number 1 you have panorama live pictures as well as information from the region. TRAINS FOR EXCURSIONS - HERE YOU WILL FIND SOME OF THE MOST ASKED DEPARTURES. These departures are from Interlaken Ost train station: Bern: Direct train every hour on the hour.
