2 Welcome Message from our ceo Kerrin Titmas Friday 14 December Family Movie Evening 18h00 19H30 With 2012 being a year of Celebration for Fancourt as our sponsored Pros, Branden Grace and Riekus Nortje enjoyed some incredible wins, why stop the Celebrations? Let s continue them into the New Year! Gather your friends and family and enjoy this year s Festive Season Programme. Old Favourites like the GM s Potjie and the New Year s festivities remain on the calendar. This year s highlights include two concerts with SA bands, Prime Circle and The Parlotones as well as two new events. The calendar is packed with physical fitness activities too, providing you the opportunity to celebrate some wins of your own. Join us from the 14th of December as we celebrate the close of 2012 and the start of BE ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR THE Switching on of our festive season lights on the resort! Come and enjoy a screening of one of the latest new releases in the Cinema. Between 17h00 and 18h00, food and beverage stalls will be open for you to enjoy prior and during the screening. 3 Monday 17 December General Manager s Potjie Competition Sunday 16 December Sundowners partnered with Graham Beck & THE DELI FACTORY Clubhouse Terrace 18h00 Relax and enjoy the view from the Clubhouse Terrace while enjoying a full selection of Graham Beck wines and delicious snacks from The Deli Factory. The evening is open to Fancourt members and hotel guests. Tickets are R60 per adult. This is a favourite on our Festive Season Programme. Who is going to be this year s winner? Will our Hotel General Manager have a turn to win this time around? On 17 December, join the Fancourt General Managers on the Clubhouse Terrace, where they will be cooking up a storm, as they compete against one another to prove to hotel guests and members that their potjie is the best. The afternoon will kick off with a 9-hole Golf Sundowner Challenge at 15h00. Please contact our Pro Shop for bookings as tee off times are limited. 4 tuesday 18 December Waterford Wine & Chocolate Pairing Henry White s Thursday 20 December Kidz Christmas Party in aid of George Child and Family Welfare Ballroom 17h30 20h30 Indulge in a classic 5-course dining menu with wine and chocolate pairing partnered with Waterford Wines in our fine dining restaurant, Henry Whites. Tickets to this event are only open to members and hotel guests and are R325 per person. Bring your children to come and meet Santa and be entertained. Kidz will also have the opportunity to have some fun with our pastry chef, Nicky King who will be making ginger bread biscuits. There will also be a Kidz Disco (under 12) until 20h30. The Kidz Christmas party is open to children of members and hotel guests. Parents are requested to bring a gift per child and an additional gift for charity. Please ensure that your charity gift is marked girl or boy with the age.

5 Friday 21 December Christmas High Tea Morning Glory 15h00 saturday 22 December Carols by CandLelight clubhouse terrace Come and enjoy a Christmas High Tea at Morning Glory. Homemade fruit mince pies, traditional marzipan stollen, apricot glazed almond squares, petit rooibos crème brulee and cinnamon candy crust, quiche lorraine and assorted tea sandwiches. We will also be supporting Sikelela who will have a table with Christmas décor and some gift ideas. Sikelela Skills Development Centre is a project of George Child and Family Welfare that was initiated to bring together unemployed people in order that their creativity and initiative may be harnessed. The evening will feature the George Child Welfare children s choir as we celebrate the season of peace and prosperity. After the carols we will release lanterns into the night sky on the Clubhouse Terrace. Lanterns can be purchased at reception prior to the event or on the evening. The cost is R165 per person.

6 sunday 23 December Outdoor Concert with the Parlotones Bramble Hill 14h00 The Parlotones have always led the way in the South African music landscape in terms of innovation and live performance. Having headlined the Coca Cola Dome, performed live at the FIFA World Cup kick off concert to hundreds of millions, broadcast a rock opera live in 3D across the world on multiple platforms They are no strangers to setting new standards in live performance. The Parlotones have shared an extraordinary journey over the last decade and after touring the world for the past five years have realized that there are many towns in South Africa that they have not seen or visited for a while. Monday 24 December Christmas Eve Dinners Henry White s Gates will open from 14h00. For your convenience we will have a wine & beer garden and food stalls. Please note that no alcohol will be allowed to be brought onto the Fancourt premises. Tickets to this event are open to the public and are R165 per person and can be purchased through Computicket. Complimentary for Kidz under 10 years. Drink responsibly. Not for sale to persons under the age of 18 years. 8 Thursday 27 December Mountain/leisure bike Race 10h00 Saturday 29 December Family Fun Race 10h00 A great way to enjoy the natural splendour Fancourt has to offer! Cycle from from The via Bramble Hill, on the grass track through The Links and back to the. A limited amount of mountain bikes are available for hire. Cost for event: R 35/entry. Distance: just shy of 10 km. Difficulty level: average. Not recommended for children under 10 years. This race consists of two leisure trails, 5km for beginners and 10km for more adventurous runners. Two winners out of each race, the overall winning time and fastest time for Kidz under 13 years old. The cost is R35 per entry. The event is open to Fancourt members and hotel guests.

9 SATURday 29 December Prime Circle Concert Bramble Hill 14h00 Monday 31 December New Year s Eve Celebration Fancourt Hotel 20h00 Following the release of their epic new single, Time Kills Us All, Prime Circle are set to rock Fancourt with incredible new material from their new album. Coming off their SAMA win for Best Rock Album in 2011, Prime Circle have toured with Seether and 3 Doors Down and played to European audiences earlier this year. They are now touring South Africa and Fancourt is thrilled to be a host venue. Gates will open from 14h00. For your convenience we will have a wine & beer garden and food stalls. Please note that no alcohol will be allowed to be brought onto the Fancourt premises. Tickets to this event are open to the public and are R165 for adults, R80 for under 18 s and complimentary for children under 10. Tickets can be purchased through Computicket. Drink responsibly. Join us from 20h00 at the Porte Corchere for a welcome drink, then make your way up to the Clubhouse Terrace where there will be entertainment and a variety of food including fresh shucked West Coast Oysters, Sushi, Salad Bar, assortment of pates, selection of meats on a braai and potjie pots as well as oriental tempura and satay dishes. Choose to countdown the New Year at either the Club Lounge or in the Ballroom with a DJ and a disco. Our popular Sweet Spot will be served at both venues. Tickets are R1000 for adults, R500 for under 18s, and complimentary for children under 7. All meals, wine, local beers and soft drinks are included in the ticket price. Only one person will be admitted per ticket. Breakfast in La Cantina on 01 January 2013 will stay open until 12h00.
